Introduction to the chakra system

The human energetic system is mainly composed of a vertical energetic axis which runs through our spine from the perineum (the region between the genitals and the anus), up to the top of our head. This is our main energetic channel and it is called in India the Sushumna Nadi. On this channel, at different levels there are seven energetic centers (named chakras) that represent our link to the "reality" and the universe(s). They are located as shown in the image on the right.

One can identify the nodal axis with Sushumna Nadi, the energetic central channel that runs through our spine. On this channel, the six chakras are projected at different levels as shown in the image on the left. The seventh chakra, the crown chakra, called Sahasrara chakra is not shown in the natal chart, it couldn't be, as it doesn't relate with the material level, only with the higher spiritual worlds. It is transcendental and represents our link to the Divinity.

The other six chakras will be projected on the nodes' axis as follows:

1. Muladhara chakra or the root chakra will be projected at a distance of 30 degrees from the South Node (SN) on both sides.

2. Swadisthana chakra or the sexual chakra will be projected from 30 degrees to 60 degrees from the SN on both sides.

3. Manipura chakra or the solar chakra will be projected from 60 degrees to 90 degrees from the SN on both sides.

4. Anahata chakra or the heart chakra will be projected from 90 to 120 degrees from the SN or from 90 to 60 degrees from the North Node (NN) on both sides.

 

5. Visshuda chakra or the throat chakra will be projected from 60 to 30 degrees from the NN on both sides.

6. Ajna chakra or the forehead chakra will be projected from 30 degrees to the NN.

Planets that are in the projection area of one chakra will influence that chakra according to their nature and the side of the nodal axis where they are located. Those on the left side (waxing from the SN) will influence the receptive part and the function of that chakra, while those on the right will influence the emissive part and function of that chakra. In order to understand this better, an esoteric study of the chakras would be required

 

 

NOTE:

(?? does this mean then, that our "hearts", our expression of the Love energy, may go in either/or direction?.....)of the NN & SNodes or the Past Lives Influences, versus the Present Life's ULTIMATE IDEAL???of the soul????   )   I think this is why it is shown as both NN & SN projection chakra.

The South Node of the Moon, supposedly is a "point" of the axis which suggests "past lives influences", or moving away from.......for the soul's major ideal

The North Node of the Moon, supposedly is a "point" which suggests moving "Towards", a new purpose & Ideal, the Purpose of the soul, versus the temptations of "past live's influences........"

From the Base of the Spine upwards through the Chakras:

 

Base of the Spine locale  ......Uranus operates.....and is quite active

her Uranus is in Cancer - self-oriented. Will be exhibited then in a "unique" way.

 

The Sexual Chakras or Swadisthana  has Jupiter (Yang)or Emissive

 as well as Pluto (YIN) or Receptive

 

The Manipura or Solar Plexus, has no planets it is responding to here in a "big or shown way" that is.

 

The Anahata or Heart Chakras.......has Saturn (karma planet, in a Receptive position) as well as Neptune. (can relate to others? or at least use to be able to when she was poor?)......Her Saturn here, must show the riches gained in this lifetime, are karmically related to this ability in the past lifetimes......as the Heart Chakra relates to both the South & the North Nodes, perhaps Neptune being the resonance or being able to "feel" the pulse of the public in a "receptive" way for her.

 

4. Anahata chakra or the heart chakra will be projected from 90 to 120 degrees from the SN or from 90 to 60 degrees from the North Node (NN) on both sides.

 

 

Visshuda (the Throat) Chakras.....normally ruled by Mercury (see above graphic with the planetary signs)...in the "Receptive/YIN side", specifically the side and place known for Gemini's orientation.

 

For Oprah, then, she has Moon & Mars here, this chakra responds well to her emotional nature, (i.e. to Gemini like communication, (via communications, or throat chakra)....her Mars likewise, is of a gemini type nature.....in a "Receptive  or YIN to her " manner.

 

The 3rd Eye or the Pituitary Gland.....is activated for  her.

on the Yang/Emissive side of life...

With the Sun , Mercury & Venus, she apparently has within her the wherewithal this lifetime, to activate in this department, the symbology we are familiar with concerning these planets.

a "Knowing" internally then, or 3rd eye way of knowing, how to then use this energy for her purposes, (whether for good or woe, it's up to her)......

 

The Sun - "the spotlight" of ideas being "expressed, or emmitted"

I don't think the Chakras Chart shows the Evolution of the Soul, per se, but rather the "abilities being expressed via these chakras, by the soul in this particular lifetime", for either Good or Woe, (depending upon the personality (aspect"s) free Will to use this energy.

 

 

So, really, the "jury is still out", IMO
