Not ONE American politician running for the United States President, that I am "aware of"........has EVER said anything about wanting to right this wrong!........it's a hot potato.
On Record the following wish to maintain the "status quo",
being Israel 110% correct, and Palestinians, 0......even while new settlements are still being built, and only lip-service given to the Annapolis, (now stalled) so called, (a pretense) "Peace Process"
The only people I am aware of who have a glimmer of understanding that THIS is at the heart of unrest, hatred & anger towards the U.S.A. and their policy of Rubber STamping Israel, and Zionism, would be the U.K Union Countries.
All of them, (Italy, Spain, Germany) are very much concerned as is France and often vote in the U.N.for the rights of the Palestinians, to not be displaced. To keep their homelands, and for Israel to NOT create any settlements, & dismantle those they have to go back to the Pre-1967 Borders!!!
As for America?...............my mother use to tell me, as did most mothers in the 1940s, raising their children back then:
"IF everyone was jumping off a high building's roof, would YOU??"
Why aren't people, self-thinking, and instead blindly follow the crowd in America??
too much trouble I suppose to be accountable for one's OWN mind and choices. Easier to "follow the crowd " or herd mentality.
Politicians who advocate keeping the status quo, (rubber stamp for Israel incude) in 2008

1)Hillary Clinton
2) Barack Obama ?
3) John Edwards

man with a conscience most of the time?
Dennis Kucinich..........but he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell!
