Gen. Betray-us, or Petraus (as he prefers to be called), is the only  General that G.W. Bush could find in 2004 that didn't oppose his ongoing slaughter in Iraq.

Betray-us insisted that G.W. Bush could come out of this occupation in Iraq, as a "Hero" in his history books, as Bush was looking for a General who could make this happen , as he said, even George Washington, is still being talked about today!

In other words, there was not one General worth his salt, that didn't tell Bush, you are fighting a Losing Battle in Iraq, but it wasn't want his tender ears wanted to hear (ie. the Truth)

Instead he propped up Betray-us to get him out of this fix he dug America into in Iraq.,and save his face for the History books.

Well, the latest word is that Betray-us & Bush insist the "surge worked" and things are far rosier today because of it.

As G.w. Bush is not known for brains whatsoever, or
looking ahead, as an Intelligent person would, of course this is not true.

Things are just as bad as ever, and the ONLY reason there are less killings there each day is because America is Buying (with cold hard cash), the informant's and their information.

ONCE the Americans leave this country, no matter in what year that is, then, all of course is lost immediately(without the payoffs to the informants)

Is that Democracy in action?  Using my brain, I'd say, NOT.

Here is just today's news:

2 Huge Suicide Bombings today alone.(there is at least one per day) you don't hear about.

One in a Tent of a Funeral (the governor's aide who they wanted to target, actually escaped of course, and only his  son & other relatives were killed instead)

"Later, I returned to the tent when I heard the voices of the wounded begging for help," he said. "There was chaos everywhere, but we managed to carry out the dead and the wounded."

The other bombing, just today alone, besides the Funeral Tent was this one, at a local Baghdad High School:
Of course (see the blued in highlight) there is an ongoing Civil War in Iraq that G.W. Bush started by invading this country, and it will NEVER stop, EVER!!!...........until America leaves and they settle their country for themselves.

His father KNEW this, and that is WHY his father in 1993 said, it would be a terrible mistake to try & unseat Hussein.,and he did not!

But the SON (G.W.) wanted desperatly (with his small-man mentality) to one - up the father., saying about this fact that
"I answer to a Higher Father, the one I listen to"..........or words to this effect.

BAGHDAD ?nbsp; A homicide bomber blew himself up in front of a high school north of Baghdad on Tuesday, wounding 22 people including teachers and students arriving for the beginning of the school day.

Bystanders and at least one police officer were also wounded in the 8:30 a.m. bombing, according to a policeman who spoke on condition of anonymity because he feared reprisals.

The target of the latest bombing was unclear: The school is next to the provincial governor's office and a municipal building in Baqouba, 35 miles northeast of Baghdad.

Baqouba is the turbulent capital of Diyala province, which has defied a nationwide trend toward lower violence over the past six months. Al Qaeda in Iraq fighters fled to Diyala after Sunni insurgents and clans members joined with American troops to oust them from much of Baghdad and Anbar province to the west.

U.S. commanders credit anti-Al Qaeda fighters from Sunni groups, a six-month cease-fire by a Shiite militia and the dispatch of 30,000 additional U.S. soldiers last year for the reduction in violence. But there has been an uptick in high-profile bombings in recent weeks, suggesting Al Qaeda remains a potent threat.

Problems cannot be solved by the level of awareness that created them to begin with!
