Cheney lies BIG TIME here in this interview and it's easily seen. Remember, he is the one who has "Algol", (i.e. Piled up corpses), at his MC (conj. Uranus) It's about 3/4 of the way through the video you'll hear him say this.... Speaking out against the presidential candidates who want to withdraw the troops from Iraq Dick Cheney says: "that's exactly what happened in Afghanistan that produced a safe haven that generated the terrorists that came and killed 3000 Americans..." What the hell is Cheney talking about? We armed and trained Bin Laden and his people to drive the Russians out of Afghanistan. IF he's speaking of Afghanistan producing a safe haven (as he insists), it was America's FAULT, for arming & training Bin Laden's group, in the first place to fight the Russians there. Our CIA did this, and was promoted by our friends, the Saudi Arabians. The man is a bald faced liar. http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=4515067 |

Former long time (6 years) Press Secretary Scott McClellan, who quit 2 years ago, has now come out with this scathing tell all about the Bush Administration. It pretty much says everything I said, at the beginning of this debacle called the Iraq War. He admits in this book that: 1)the Run up to war by Bush and Cheney was with the knowledge that the CIA info had been both forged and not accurate. They knew this, but continued to pretend that it was accurate even when told it was not. There were NO WMDs.......the premise for the war. and they (Bush & Cheney KNEW) 2) He says G.W. Bush did this war and the run up, participating in the lies (the header of this thread); willingly because it helped him to "Make a name for himself", (he has Mars in Leo and it's rising.....) 3) He says G.W. lied also about his snorting of cocaine when asked, instead of just admitting that it was true, he lied and said, "I didn't remember if I did or not quite honestly, because that was long ago, and we use to party quite heavily". 4)He said that G.W. was "like a deaf man in a room full of sycophants" This book will go a long way towards confirming everything I've said since the very beginning of this War, both here and on H/Chat. |

More lies coming full circle: 8 years and thousands of dead bodies later. The number of dead and wounded Iraqis has never been counted. But Bush spokesperson says, "They regret it"......that they got caught I suppose, in their lies. Report: Bush Misled U.S. On Iraq Intel Another Senate Report Concludes Pentagon Concealed Iran Information From Intelligence Agencies (CBS/ AP) Two reports issued by the Senate Intelligence Committee Thursday leveled harsh criticism at both the White House and Pentagon for their handling of intelligence concerning Iraq and Iran. One report examined statements by top Bush administration officials between October 2002 and March 2003, when the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq began, about the threat posed by Saddam Hussein's regime. These officials, from President Bush on down, deliberately misled the American public about Saddam's relationship with al Qaeda and "led the nation to war on false premises," according to Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va. According to the report, officials erroneously linked Saddam to the Sept. 11 attacks and al Qaeda; claimed Iraq would give terrorist groups chemical, biological or nuclear weapons, and said Iraq was developing drones to spread chemical or biological agents over the United States. None was borne out by intelligence. "These reports are about holding the government accountable and making sure these mistakes never happen again," Rockefeller said Thursday. Bush's press secretary, Dana Perino, said the problem was flawed intelligence heading into the war. "We had the intelligence that we had, fully vetted, but it was wrong. And we certainly regret that," she said. |

INEFFECTIVE 'JAWBONING': After Israel, President Bush traveled to Saudi Arabia, where he appealed to Saudi King Abdullah to increase oil production and help lower oil prices. Bush's appeal was rejected. "Supply and demand are in balance today...The fundamentals are sound," said Saudi Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi. During the 2000 presidential campaign, Bush had criticized the Clinton administration for high fuel prices, saying that a president must "'jawbone' oil producing nations" and persuade them to drop rates. Back then, Bush promised that he would bring down gas prices by creating "political good will with oil-producing nations" stating that he would " work with our friends in OPEC…and convince them to open up the spigot." At that time, oil was nearing $28 a barrel. Last week oil hit $127 a barrel, with many analysts " seeing a medium-term rise…to $200 a barrel as a genuine prospect." It's unlikely, however, that even increasing oil flows would reduce the price of crude. The oil market is "well supplied," according to Iraqi Oil Minister Hussain al-Shahristani, who said that prices are being driven by "speculative flows," and not supply and demand. |
