There hasn't been any activity recently, so I'm wondering if we want to keep this open.

It's great that everyone has re-established themselves!

Let me have some feedback on the utility of this group.

Steve

I am here. I think we really miss John's leadership in sending those daily notes before that really kept us connected.
If we could have some sort of routine corresponsdence it would be great - maybe every 2 weeks or so.
By the way, Bill Vanjonack told me that Jonathan said to say hi to you.

Regards,

Steve / Imran:
I almost fell off my chair when I saw there postings on the site again.  I do check it on almost a daily basis.
I don't mind having another stab at recreating my original postings.  They were just stuff that I had found interesting and hoped that others would also.
The reasons I stopped were twofold.
First, my brother got seriously ill, spending nearly 7 months in intensive care and another 5 in physical rehabilitation.
Second, there was an almost complete lack of response which led me to believe that no one was really interested anymore.
Hopefully there will be some response to these posts that will give an indication of the amount of interest there might be.  If there's enough, in our collective estimation, then I will revive them again.
Take care,
John

Hi Steve, Imran and John

It's nice to hear there are still a few of us that check the Dupont chat line from time to time.  Steve, I would like to see it stay active.  By the way, when is the next Dupont Reunion?

Regards
Elaine

John,

Truly sorry for your brother. Had a good laugh and discussion from your daily e-mails

Take care,

Luce

Hi Steve,

It was Great joining Megan and you at the PMCO Dinner, and I must Thank you for it. I think it is worthwhile to keep this site open since it is the only Link between past DuPonters and to remind us of the Good'Ole Days!!!

Maybe as we discussed at the above Dinner, since many of us are in the Mississauga area we should have a Friday Lunch, now that the Summer is here. How about Friday the 24th at Summit Garden (Dundas 7W. Churchill) for Dim-Sum. Hope we get a good response. All interested Please RSVP ASAP. --- or for those who feel daring and adventurous we can go to Bombay Bhel at Battleford and Erin Mills

Best regards,

Ashok

I'm still here & I do enjoy finding out what others are up to but I hadn't noticed much information about where & what people are doing these days.  Maybe I'll start..... I'm still at Patheon in Mississauga & recently got a promotion to Senior Payroll Administrator.  I'm working on completion of my second designation from the Canadian Payroll Association (enrolled in one on-line course on business writing strategies) and have 2 more college level credits to obtain.  Once this is completed my CPA designation will be Payroll Supervisor.   Perhaps Patheon will recognise this "title" as well.  I'm hoping to stay another year or so until my house up north is ready for full time inhabitants then we plan to sell our house and move to Cottage country (hopefully much less traffic... Mississauga is just terrible these days)

I really don't know where everyone else is working these days, but it would be really nice to have an update.

Hope to hear from everyone,
Betty

Hi Ashok,

Sorry cannot make it June 24th is St-Jean-Baptiste day for us in quebec. Keep in touch if I'm in town (Toronto) I'll join in. I have been employed as a National clinical consultant for a glove company looking at health and safety. I am travelling around North America since the last 3 years, would probably be able to make it to one of your diners once in a while.

Bye and take care

Hi Ashok, I cannot make it either on the 24th.  Heading to Montana for my nephews wedding.  Its an outdoor wedding (river in front & mountains behind-WOW!) and we'll be gone for an extended weekend including a side trip to Old Faithful!

It's good to see that there is still life out there!

Megann and I enjoyed talking with Ashok at the recent OPMA Lobsterfest.  It's always good to hear how old friends and aquaintances are doing.

Megann and I are still working for ourselves.  Panoptika, our Marketing Reseach and Consulting company, is still going strong entering our fifth year!  There's not much downtime when you're selling and doing the work, but we get to travel together much more than before, so there are fringe benefits.  You can reach us at: www.panoptika.ca.

On the personal side, we're getting ready to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this December with a trip to London and Paris, so if antone has any good tips on things to see and places to eat, we'd love to hear them.

Glad to hear from everyone!

Regards,

Steve

Hello to All:
Thanks, Ashok, for your suggestion on Summer lunch.  Unfortunately I will be out of town on June 24.  May be in July???
