Astellas Pharma Canada is currently searching for a Product Specialist, Immunology, Montreal, Quebec. Reporting to Michael Tremblay, Director of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Sales and promotion of Prograf, current territory to include five transplant institutions located in Montreal, Ottawa General Hospital and Kingston General Hospital.

Developing and maintaining strong, professional relationships with relevant Health Care Providers.

Uncovering educational opportunities for customers in the region.

Attending domestic and international transplant conferences when appropriate.

Creating an annual regional business plan to maximize business opportunities and achieve annual regional forecasts. Managing regional budget to assigned budgetary target.

Attending biannual sales meetings

The key skills and experience required include:

University degree required. Advanced or professional degree in a health care discipline or in the life sciences or an advanced degree in business is preferred.

Minimum of three years sales experience in an established pharmaceutical company; experience with teaching hospitals is preferred.

Strong background in Immunology is preferred.

Proven communication and interpersonal skills required.

Bilingual, English and French is required.
