Astellas Pharma Canada is currently searching for four Product Specialists, Urology/Dermatology for eastern Canada. Reporting to Renaud Giguère, Sales Manager; Urology/Dermatology the successful candidates will be responsible for one of the following territories:

Nova Scotia & Prince Edward Island
Sherbrooke, Quebec
Laval/North, Quebec
Montreal West, Quebec

Sales and promotion of dermatology and urology products in the assigned territory for all of the key institutions located in the province of Quebec. Assisting with the profiling of key urology customers prior to the launch of Vesicare.

Uncovering educational opportunities for customers in the region.

Attending domestic and international dermatology/urology conferences when appropriate.

Creating an annual territory business plan to maximize business opportunities and achieve annual regional forecasts. Managing territory budget to assigned budgetary target.

Attending biannual sales meetings

The key skills and experience required include:

University degree required. Advanced or professional degree in a health care discipline or in the life sciences or an advanced degree in business is preferred.

Minimum of three years sales experience in an established pharmaceutical company; experience with teaching and/or tertiary care hospitals is required.

Strong background in Dermatology/Urology is preferred.

Proven communication and interpersonal skills required.

Bilingual, English and French is required for the Quebec position, a plus for the Nova Scotia/PEI position.
