Astellas Pharma Canada is currently searching for three Product Specialists, Urology/Dermatology for western Canada. Reporting to the western Sales Manager; Urology/Dermatology (TBD) the successful candidates will be responsible for one of the following territories:

Saskatchewan
Northern Alberta
Northern British Columbia

Sales and promotion of dermatology and urology products in the assigned territory for all of the key institutions. Assisting with the profiling of key urology customers prior to the launch of Vesicare.

Uncovering educational opportunities for customers in the region.

Attending domestic and international dermatology/urology conferences when appropriate.

Creating an annual territory business plan to maximize business opportunities and achieve annual regional forecasts. Managing territory budget to assigned budgetary target.

Attending biannual sales meetings

The key skills and experience required include:

University degree required. Advanced or professional degree in a health care discipline or in the life sciences or an advanced degree in business is preferred.

Minimum of three years sales experience in an established pharmaceutical company; experience with teaching and/or tertiary care hospitals is required.

Strong background in Dermatology/Urology is preferred.

Proven communication and interpersonal skills required.

Bilingual, English and French is a plus.
