The days have been long, and the nights short, as the bonded brothers rode the forests of elmshade.  Long past are the days from whence their families were lost, but these two have bonded together to become a new family, and still journey together.  Both have grown strong in their arts and fields, and yet not in their looks.  They look just as young and talented as ever, but with a couple of years under their belt.   The destined son of a powerful priestess, and twin to his fallen star sister, and the brother to a fallen angel so to speak, now ride together as a sword and fist combatant team.  Aonian Holimion, who just goes by Ian now, and Shawn Starfire, both bearly survived the assault on the now unholy city of Glynnfaign, as everything was destroied there, including the now ruined sky castle, which was a powerful tool in the destiny of the fight.  The only person unaccounted for is Ian's godmother Diedra.   These boys were united as Ian's tracking skills had found the wounded Shawn laying next to his dead friend and companion Shiva, a 4 year old white tiger, who died while saving his life.  Shawn was bearly breathing, but still alive, as Ian used his ranger magic to heal Shawn's wounds, and eventually the boys took the ranger bond of brotherhood and became blood brothers for life.  Now after returning to Elmshade, in search of just settling down and living something peaceful, as they have seen to much death and violence for now, the boys find out that the home of Shawn's sister Lita was still standing, and is still protected by one of the few holy ley lines there, as they agreed that is where they are going to go and spend out the rest of their days as their home. 

A circle of magical oak trees, looks like stonehenge surrounding a nicely shaped wooden cottege, and filled with magical holy energy, though it is faint now that the guardian is gone, it just seemed to radiate none the less.  The brothers rode that way as they dismounted just at the edge of the circle and let Voronwier walk into the circle with them.  Inside, the horse had his own stable if he wanted it, as the circle conformed to it's new masters.  It was like it could read their needs as the cottage and all changed to match their needs, conforming to this magical place.  Upon ariving, a tiny ball of light bounded towards them as it landed in Shawn's arms and nuzzled him lovingly, and soon a symbol appeared on his bracers, headband and cloak, as it was the sign of the dragon, which linked him and Ky together mentally.  As the boys went inside their new home, Voronwier just went on his way to do what he wanted.
