Sitting in the twisted root tavern and inn..

It was a hot and bothersom day as the two young blood brothers rode up to the ever present Twisted Root Tavern and Inn.  After tying up Silvermane to the pole outside, they entered the bar as business stopped for a moment as all the patrons looked at them.  Helga approched them, " Can I be a helpin ya youngins?"  She said

" Hello Helga, it is good to see you again."  Aonian said

" Have I met ya's before?"  She studied the young elven ranger for a moment before she said, " Well bless the hammer of the dwarves, little Ian? Is that you lad?"
" Aye Helga, it is me."  He stepped and pointed behind him, " And this is my friend Shawn."

" Shawn, the brother of that priestess that passed?  It is an honor to have known your sister."  Helga said in respect.

" Thank you kindly milady."  Shawn said as he bowed gracefully.

" Well bless my soul, please come in.  Your usual table is still there lad, go sit, I will bring drinks."  Helga said as she went off, almost like her day was alittle brighter knowing that Aonian was back in town.  Shawn sat across from him at the table, " Is she always like this?"  He asked

" No, usually alot meaner." Ian joked as they laughed.

A few moments later, Helga came back and set down two glasses.  She knew what Ian liked, and she gave him it.  He had an elven berry wine, just like his god mother, but only one, as he didn't drink much.  Shawn got alittle of it, as he didn't drink at all, and a water to go with it.  " OH you boys must be famished, I will go make food.  This is on me boys, don't you sweat it."  Helga said as she practically skipped off.

" So, where are we going to go now?  I mean your home was destroied, and Sky Castle doesn't exist any more?"  Shawn said

" What about the oaken circle?  It wasn't destroied, and I am sure that Lita's old cabin still stands there."

At that moment a shimmering ball of light came into the room, and landed on Shawn's shoulder.  Appering out of the ball of light, was a baby fairy dragon.  " I remember you."  Shawn said, " How did you find me?"

" The dragon is linked to Lita and her reletives, I am sure she saw you in her thoughts."  Ian said.  " I think her name is Ky, but I am not sure."

< My name is Ky, and I am now your pet and guardian.>  Ky said to Shawn in his thoughts.

< You know my name.  I am honored that you chose me to take you in.>  Shawn replied in thought.

< It is only fitting.>  With that, Ky nuzzled up against Shawn's head in an affectionate rub before saying, < Can I expect you back at the house.>

He looked at Ian and then nodded.  " Well, I guess we can stay in the cottage. I have a new guardian." Shawn said as the little dragon became a ball of light and went back to the oaken circle and waited.

The boys sat at the table as Helga brought the food, they ate and talked until....

A short cloaked figure dangles its legs off a near by stool playing a melody from her harmonica. The soothing tunes have many rocking or swaying as they consume their indulgences or go about their duties.
The figure swings around the stool and stops quick at the sight the two young lords. Giving them a few moments for settling and ordering ;the figure places her harmonica into a vest pocket throws her Haversack over a shoulder and prances to their table. Pulling the hood of her cloak back and dropping her haversack with a distinguishable thud she begins... " Greetings well met and salutations cousins I'm
Tipsie ...Tipsie Bladespinner, daughter of the Whirling Bladesingers. That's right my folks were carnies ; that 's short for carnival performers. That's an easy way to take care of that little problem we have, called wanderlust.....yeah..we really don't like to be bored or stay still do we. My name, why its because what ever it is I put my little red head mind to I seem to Tip things in my favor. Oh it is also quite easy for me to get others tipsie with my hobby of brewery. I always wanted my own establishment to perform and make people tipsie in. That is why on one of my adventures when I was still ;( that's what I call it if iI am there more than a week),at a city known as Gilgamesh, I took a tavern as payment. Payment for what you say; well lets just say we dehauntified a forest.Put a lot of work in that place...hope the staff keeps it up while I'm away.Does owning an establishment interfere with my urge to keep the roads under my little feet hot....nope not at all...I want to be known all over....Have Drunken Kender's everywhere. There is a lot more to the Drunken Kender than food, booze, and a stage....I will eventually open ...various schools so that talents can be finely tuned like my harmonica. That is my instrument of choice...I sing to..not my strongest trait. I go back to my roots to impress people with my knife throwing shows. Daggers are my passion. Though they can be a bit boring on occasion. Bladespinner you ask when my parents were known as the Singingblades...get me mad....you 'll understand. So I love to entertain...laughing is great .. ...and after all it is the little things like that make a difference. By the way did I happen to mention that I have direct lineage to Uncle Trappspringer and Uncle Tasslehoff....I have documentation in one of these pouches.............
