Gabriel looked upon the village of Elmshade with recognition.  This was only the second time he had come here, but he remembered it well.  As he did the last time, Gabriel had flown here by way of his sapphire colored gryphon, but had landed in the woods a couple hours away.  He did this because he didn't want to run afoul of any magical protections that might be in place above the skies of Elmshade.

So it was that Gabriel walked into the village and approached the tower of the Mage Trinity.  He looked about to find a way to announce his presence, but he felt that the wizards here already knew who and where he was.

Silvara looked at Gabriel seriously and didn't answer the question, not sure if he truly meant what he had asked. She shook it off and entered the study. "This is the study. The library is beyond the wall and it has a magical entrance to it. In there I keep all my tomes of scared magic and bascially all the things on the planes are in there, locked because of the information in those books. Just reading them could force a person to unknownly bring up a spell to shift them to a different plane."  She moved towards the wall and entered the library, followed by Gabriel. As they entered he could feel that this room has been sealed magically from anyone who wasn't invited in to enter. "This is basically where I come to read. I find that if you have magic around you, the magic guides you to what needs to be found, and well if this place were ever found, this knowledge might be put into the wrong hands and that is never good."  She walked out of the library, and then out of the study. She walked through the corridor towards a door to the end of it. She  moved at the door and it automatically opened. She stepped in and allowed Gabriel to enter behind her. "This is what we call the everything room. And I can't go into much detail about why it does what it does, but in this room you can call on it to be something and it shall be that. And it will only work if your mind is pure. So it's proofed." She smiled to herself and walked out to the room, and began to walk to the other end of the corridor. As they went around to the other side, she spoke. "As of this moment, what do you think of the tower?"

Gabriel looked with interest.  His eyes wandered all over the library seeing if his eyes would catch any tomes of particular interest.  "What is your favorite book?"  Gabriel asked.

When Silvara showed him the room of everything, he looked at it curiously.  "Could you give a demonstration?  What do you typically use it for?"  He pondered.

Silvara stopped in her tracks and looked at Gabriel. She nodded and walked back towards the room. As she neared it, the door once again swung open on it's own. She stepped in, and after Gabriel stepped in for the second time, the door closed behind them. Silvara looked over to a corner and a chair appeared. She grabbed it and sat, looking before her. As she did this, another chair appeared. She motioned to Gabriel. "Well as you can see anything you want officially appears here. If you would need, say, a chemistry lab..." Before she finished speaking, around them a chemistry lab appeared. "But not that I use chemistry labs often, considering the fact that I'm  a mage. But what I use it for is more like a place to replay my day, and what has heppend. Like a pensieve. Now you try." She continued to sit in her seat and allowed Gabriel to try it out.

"Thank you, I'd love to."  Gabriel said when Silvara indicated he could use the room.  Immediately a comfortable living room appeared lit only by a fireplace.  Not far from the fireplace was a soft sofa and a small table with a bucket of ice on top, containing a bottle of champagne.  To top it off, a painting of two lovers entwined hung over the fireplace, and somwhere a strong, pleasant scent emanated from an incense burner.

Silvara looked around the room, her eyes scanning the entire space. She then slowly turned to look at Gabriel. She raised a brow. "Hmm, interesting use of this room." She stands and walks over to the fire, sticking her hand in it, the flames lapping at her hand like a gentle wave. She looked over to the painting, and walked over to it. She stood in front of it for a moment and then turned to Gabriel. "But the painting... that's something else." She looked back to the painting. "So why this room?"

"I just wondered what good such a room would be without taking full advantage of it.  Would you care to sit down, relax, and have a drink?"  Gabriel asked.

Silvara looked to Gabriel and cocked her head. "How about we finish the tour. This isn't something I tend to do often, so we might as well continue." She shook her head and walked towards the door. As she reached it, the room returned to it's original state of emptiness and she walked out the now open door. She contined to walk across the hall and reached the other door before Gabriel had even left the room. She took a moment to take a deep breath. A man playing little game with me, that's not rare. But playing games with me in my own tower, hmm, that's just bold. Silvara thougth to herself. The fact that there weren't many men in her tower seemed to be a sign to the fact that she wasn't one who tended to deal to much with them.  She shook it off and stood waiting at the entrance of the other door for Gabriel.

"As you wish milady.  I am quite eager to see the rest of the tower.  I'm quite impressed with what I've seen so far."  Gabriel said following after Silvara.

Silvara opened the door and stepped in, and after Gabriel stepped in, the door closed on it's own. The room was dim at first, but once the door closed a bright, warm fire seemed to come alive out of nowhere. Silvara walked to the center of the room. She closed her eyes and the room soon became ablaze, a ring of fire touching each wall, but the walls were not consumed, and the room's temperature did not elevate. As she stood in the center of the room, she became enveloped by a blanket of fire. It completely surrounded her. Soon after her clothing seemed to dissapear as she was covered in a type of fabric made of the flames. She then opened her eyes and looked to Gabriel. "This is what I love to call the fire room. I come here to be a peace. The other room we were in... well I don't use that room, not really. I leave it for those who come to the tower and wish to find a place where they can be comfortable outside of their natural habitat, as it were. And if you think that my bedroom gets action, well, then this room tops it. For here is where I bring those who..." And she stopped speaking. She looked down to the fire on her skin. It pressed to her, shaping her. She cocked her head to Gabriel. "And well, only the very, how would you say, highly deemed come here. This is my sanctuary. Anything that I wish here, happens here. And anything and anyone I bring here, leave purified in a way that can only be described as... euforia. It's like me  truly opening my mind's door to someone, and you, sir, have been brought here." She walked over to him. From one of the walls and couch of flames shot forward. Silvara took a seat. "Join me?"

Gabriel paused, keeping silent, not knowing what to say.  He was suspicious having never been invited to such a bizarre ritual.  Did Silvara proposition him for sex, or was this some kind of mind sharing/spiritual ritual, or perhaps both?  Gabriel was not ready to share his mind with anyone for the results could be disasterous.

"I am honored for such an invitation milady, and I find it almost irresistably tempting.  Your passion must be greater then any woman I've ever met before.  I would embrace that, but though I fear not for myself, my clothing is not protected from flames.  Will they be damaged?  I hate to flounder like a young boy touching his first woman, but can you tell me more about this room, and your use for it, so that I might know better how to conduct myself?"  Gabriel asked.

Silvara laughed to herself. She looked to Gabriel. "Well. The flames will not hurt your clothing, if that's what you're worried about. As for all other things... this room is one to bring people closer. If an alliance were to be made here, it would be stronger. Mainly because people tell the truth here. And I always find what my heart desires when I'm here. Now if you are wondering what this place could do for you, you must first take seat and let yourself relax." She smiled to him, tucking her legs under her. "So tell me... what do you think of the land that we have? I've been to Norwood before, never for very long, but what do you think of the differences, and how do you think that we can help each other?"

Gabriel stood for a moment, then smiled and took a seat.  He felt he was safe enough for now from revealing anything dangerous.  "Well it seems to me that Norwood and Elmshade are two sides of the same coin.  They are both wilderness settlements of great beauty, but Norwood has a strict military bearing, whereas Elmshade is more free and homely."  Gabriel told Silvara.  "As for helping each other, do you meant Norwood and Elmshade, or Darokin Port and Elmshade because I'm here to represent the later today."

Silvara nodded. "Well I meant the former, mainly because when we were talking about it earlier today, my mind was truly elsewhere. How about you tell me about your home. And I mean truly tell me. What do you like about it, what do you hate about it? What is your favorite part of it? What do you think we can give each other?" She smiled and leant back into the seat, listening.

"Darokin Port is far from a home.  It's simply a concept I came up with to make more money.  I never stay there very long.  Still I can answer your questions to a point.  Of course I love that it has provided a whole territory that was previously landlocked to the sea, and the money it has made me.  I hate all the work it has brought me.  I have almost no time for much else, though that will soon change for I plan to put someone else in charge who I can trust to run it in a similar manner as I would.  Darokin Port can give Elmshade everything.  Anything you couldn't get before will be available to you with very little waiting.  More importantly it will provide a convienent manner for Elmshade to exports its own goods and this is the main reason I believe that Raven approached me in the first place.  Trade is the sole reason I founded the port and trade is what it will bring to each nation that chooses to do business there."  Gabriel told Silvara.

(Hey sorry I hadn't be with the thread. I just needed sometime away from this thread, but I think we can finish it now if you'd like. Oh and by the way. I'm going to jump forward in time. We are no longer in that room. Ok? Just wanted to let you know. OH and just imagine you have seen the entire tower. That would take a really long time to talk about, but just imagine, ok?)

Silvara ushered Gabriel over to the dining room. She nodded to one of her servants and then walked over to her usual seat and sat, motioning for Gabriel to do that same. The tower servants then began to bring food out to them, setting them in front of them. Silvara lifted her hand, and in it a goblet appeared with a liquid that seemed to be on fire. She blew on it, as turning off the fire and then drank. She looked at Gabriel, and smiled.

"You must be wondering what this is. I'll tell you. It's hot chikkar. Quite the acquired taste if I must say so. Generally we, the ones of fire, tend to drink this. It keeps us... I suppose you could say, in our element." She laughed softly.

She motioned to him to serve himself. She served herself and then looked at him. Before she began to eat she asked him one question.

"What do you hope to gain here? Is there anything other than commerce?"
