((this is the day after the destruction)) With her new gear she packs her things and wraps herself in the thick winter cloak. She shoulders her nodatchi as she gets in the wagon which is now a sled and waits for Cade. The morning birds churp asthe green of the summer is trying to grow out of the strange snow that has been falling for the past few days. She takes a deep breath of the sharply chilling air and looks to her companion as he exits his cabin. Once cade is able to get in they take off in there horse powered sled towards the mage trinity. Within a short period of time they reach the now demolished area of the dias. Stepping out of the wagon she looks around to see if she can see anyone. With her great weapon sheathed and shouldered she walks around the area of the dias in search for someone to talk to and perferably the mage known as Arie. (although she doesn't know what a mage looks like so...shrug) |

Gia rushes over to where the boy was sitting against the tree and seen Cade pore some liquid in the boys mouth. Looking in amazement as the wounds healed. The boy looked up to the two of them. " Are you ok?" She looked into his eyes. The boy looked like he was still slightly in pain but upon looking into Gia's eyes the boy blinked twice and just smiled like he was drunk. "Do you know where i can find Arie mage?" She asks. The boy looks to her. "I'll do anything for you." Gia looks to the boy oddly and glances up to Cade. "Is this a side effect of your liquid you gave him?" As they talk the boy uses a tree to help support him as he stands. "I'll help you find him, anything for you." He starts walking to a fallen tower that appears to be made of Metal blocks. |

Cade took a sniff of the bottle as he spoke: "No, thats new to me. I think I had some mead in this one before I put the healing posion in the bottle." Cade said. He placed the bottle into his belt pouch. "It might be that your so beautiful." Cade said as he smiled at her. "Lets not lose him. He may be a little weak right now. He wont be able to defend himself if there is any one around." Cade said as he started to fallow the boy. |

Gia looks to Cade to reply to his comment but all she does is blush. She starts to follow after they boy. Soon there at the base of the great adaman tower which had fallen over. The boy points into the tower. "She is in there miss, She always lives in the tower." He still looks as if he is dumb struck. Gia nods to the boy. "I'll get up there and i'll help you two up over the rubble. Gia takes the sheath of her sword jumps up in the air and imbeds the sheath in a gap of the rubble and pulls herself into the hole. She reaches down and helps Cade and the Boy up into the tower. Once both of them are inside she takes her sword out of the gap and crawls down the blocks to the sideways tower. Drawing her mithril nondatchi (which is longer than she is tall.) and handing the case to the dumbfounded boy she scans the dark tower. ((Forgive me i've never had to do rubble on a previous map before so it looks bad)) |

Cade stumbles around a bit through the ruble, he couldn't really see in the darken tower hall. He kicks a torch on the ground. He picks it up and sayes: "Hope you don't mind me lighting this torch to light my way?" He waits for any responce. When there was no objections he light the torch with his flint and steel. He looks over to the boyand sayes: "Where was Arie the last time you saw her. Can you lead the way?" |

Gia looks back to Cade. "You can light it but keep the light behind me because i can see perfectly in here, the light might mess that up." Gia looks around to see if there is anywhere that they can go. Seeing the tower is on its side, going up into the next room would require climbing. She looks to the boy and he appologizes as he doesn't know where to go. Gia then looks to Cade. "Ok where do you think we should start looking?" |

Before they could start their search, the mistress of the tower appeared before them. Arienne was a beautiful elven woman, and although she almost always wore the charcoal grey robes which marked her as a mage, they clung softly to her feminine curves and did nothing to diminish her lovely appearance. She stood 5'5" and seemed to weigh no more than 95 lbs. Her skin was tanned and her tilted, crystalline blue eyes studied the visitors to her tower with curiosity. Her long, silver curls framed her pixie-like face and a friendly smile touched her delicate pink lips. The handle of an adamantite, bladed war-staff protruded from behind her back and she stood in the ruins of the great main hall near the stairs with her slender arms crossed in front of her. "Hello," she greeted them. "Might I ask who you are and why you're in my tower? You're lucky that I was paying attention," she remarked with an amused gleam in her eyes. "My beholder guardian would probably not have taken too kindly to finding intruders in my tower. My name is Arienne Starsinger, by the way. What can I do for you?" |

Cade jumped back when Arienne apered. He lissoned to her as she spoke. When she was done speaking Cade took a step fowered. "My name is Cade. I am sorry that where here unanoust, But we are here to seek your council. Would you be so kind and speak with us? This is Gia and we found this boy out side hurt." Cade said |

Gia jumped backwards about a foot seeing Arie appear out of the dark of the tower. Arie notices the striking beauty of this young woman and the feral reflection in her eyes. Gia looked to Arie and set her sword down and knelt on her knee. "I wish to speak with you Ariemage. I was told that you could help me with a problem of mine. can we please speak about this?" |

Arienne studied the small group and nodded. "Hello, Cade, Gia. I'll certainly listen to what you have to say and offer what assistance I might. Come, let's sit and you can tell me what it is you wish from me." The slender sorceress led the way through blocks of rubble to where a large, black marble slab had been righted. It used to be the main hall's table, but was cracked in several pieces now. Arienne picked up a few wrought iron framed chairs with red velvet cushions and turned them up to their proper positions, dusting off the seats. She took her place in the chair at the head of the table and regarded them all with a friendly expression. "I apologize for the mess. I've barely had time to even begin setting things back to the way they were. Please, sit down and tell me what I can do for you." |

Gia looks to the elven sorceress and nods in respect. The heir of the woman seemed to demand the correct amount of respect. "Ariemage, I have come to you with a problem and i don't know how to fix it. I woke up a few days ago not knowing who i was, what i was or where i was. I tink i want to know my past but i'm afraid to find out." She pauses for a moment. It seems hard for her to speak. Not just painful but seemingly hard for her to find her words. "I have been having nightmares, nightmares of evil. I am being pleagued with thoughts and memorries that cannot be normal for a woman to think. The dreams are of a scary woman with demonic wings and horns. She calls me her daughter and shows me terrable things that make me sick to think about." She stops again and starts back up "I also had a dream of a man who calls himself my father. He told me some things that startled me too but he was an elf and he showed me a cart of his that ad equipment in it so i can sell to get myself a foundation," She pointed to her sword and to Cade's sword. "The cart was where he said it was......but he also said something else...", feeling that she didn't come here for just this, she continues. As she speaks she takes off her cloak and a large set of wingss and a tail form behind her. "He told me i was an Alu. I don't know what that is and i fear that i may become like that woman that huants my dreams. Is there a way you can help?" |

Arienne listened to the young woman as she explained her plight. When she was done speaking, Arienne frowned. "You say your problem is that you think you want to remember your past, but are afraid of it. The nightmares you have been having sound to me as if they might actually be either repressed memories or your parents contacting you in the only way they can." The elven woman leaned forward on the table and steepled her slim fingers in front of her in thought. She sighed. "I can do minor hypnosis, but I do not think I would like to try that with you, Gia. On the off-chance that one of your parents is a demon, I would not want to be responsible for loosing such an evil being in this plane, nor would I want you to become possessed when I had no way of containing you." Arienne paused, turning the matter over in her mind. "If you are Alu, then that means you are half-demon, and must somehow learn to control the demonic half so that you do not fall prey to evil instincts and impulses. Make no mistake, Gia. If you are Alu, your demonic half will come forward, sooner or later, whether you want it to or not. Unfortunately, I am not well-versed enough in demonology to know what the best course of action for you would be. I would recommend that you go to a priest or priestess of some sort, the more powerful, the better. Perhaps he or she can give you better guidance." Arienne folded her hands in front of her and gave the woman a sympathetic look. "If you are half-demon, then there will be no way to simply 'exorcise' the demonic half. You won't be able to just 'get rid' of it. No, I think you will have to learn to control it, Gia. Learn what things trigger it, perhaps the sight or smell of blood, or something equally disturbing brings the change about, but you must learn what it is that causes that half of you to come forward. As for your dreams..." The delicate elf paused again in thought. "Hmmmm." The mistress of the tower stood, detached a small, black leather pouch from her belt and laid it on the table in front of Gia. "In this are herbs that, when mixed into any liquid, will allow you to sleep heavily, hopefully without dreams. Use one pinch per quart of liquid, no more, no less. Using more will have no discernable effect, and using less will cause it to be ineffective." Her hands came to rest in front of her robes again and she gave a small shrug. "Other than that, as I have said, I would recommend that you seek out a powerful priest as soon as possible. And make sure your comrades keep an eye on you in case the darker side shows itself." Her clear blue eyes flicked to Cade. "You'll need to be alert in case her demonic side comes out. If she should emerge as a succubus, you will have to have the willpower to fight off her advances, which means you must avoid her gaze at all costs, Cade. If you must look at her, use a hand-held mirror or the shiny inside of a shield. I would also recommend purchasing some metal restraints, just in case. Iron would probably work best." Arienne's gaze returned to Gia. "I know it sounds harsh, but it would probably be best if you were restrained at night, to keep you from harming anyone. I wish I could offer further assistance, but I do not know enough about demons to tell you much more than I already have. I'm truly sorry I cannot help you more." She stopped speaking and waited patiently for their responses. |

"Is there anyway that you could help me retain a human form? or Perhaps help me cope with my powers? I don't know what i'm capable of doing." She accepts the drug from Arie. "And what is this Gaze you spoke of? Is it perhaps what happened to that boy? He looked in my eyes and then went all....giddy i guess. Talking about how he'd do anything for me. Something like that." She pauses for a minute and then looks back up, thinking of everything that was said. "I don't want to hurt no one ariemage. I just want to be a normal girl, and do normal things, i don't want this..." A silent tear rolls down her soft cheeks. "Wait! Ariemage, in one of my dreams i couldn't move my feet, I was in some sort of circle. Is it possible that you can do something like that? perhaps reveal my past that way so i am of no harm to anyone. Or should i still see at priest.? And if i should see a priest. Who do i see, and were? Can i trust that they won't hurt me?" |

Arienne shook her head and gave Gia another sympathetic look. "Revealing your past will not change the fact that half of you is demonic, Gia. It may grant you a better understanding of it, but it won't change what you are. And there is nothing I know of that will suppress the other side of you so that you can remain human indefinitely. As I stated before, I think you will have to learn to control it." Arienne brought a slim hand up to her chin in thought. "The circle of power you mentioned in your dream has to be made by someone with much more knowledge than myself. You see, the runes must be perfect to avoid the demon slipping out of the circle and hurting someone. Gia, I know you don't want to hurt anyone now, in your human state, but the demonic half of you is probably not as accomodating. The gaze I mentioned is something practiced by many demons, as a way to lure victims to them or get them to do their bidding. My guess is that this is what happened to the boy." The sorceress's hand came down again to rest on the table before her. "I still think you should see a priest, Gia. As for who and where, I would recommend Mother Siannodell at the Temple here in Elmshade, but we have all just finished fighting a tremendous battle. We're all overly exausted and our powers are at a low right now. You could perhaps seek her out anyway, and she might be able to help you. She is one of the few priestesses whom I trust completely." Arienne rose and clasped her hands in front of her robes. "Again, I am sorry I cannot be of more help, Gia. You have come at an inconvenient time for all of us, and although it is not your fault, we cannot help you as much as we would like. Now, if you'll excuse me, I do have work to attend to here in the tower. Go see Siannodell at the temple. She may be able to help you more." The elven woman waited patiently to get back to fixing her tower and hoped that Mother Sia could give the girl what she so desperately wanted. |
