I wish to confront the mangers with a question. I have retired Kaze at your request because of the magical items and the power that he holds. I am willing to write something up that says he looses everything but a few book items that i dont want to give up because of his history with said items. I dont wish this to sound like an Ultimadum for it isn't its just my choice. Allow me to power down Kaze, ditch Most of his equipment (only thing he would keep would be his bag of holding and Dagger of Sharpness because of sentimental value on both mine and his part) and edit him as seen fit because considering the situation i cannot leave Kaze out of it retired or no it would be a slight against his personality, hell i can probably write it out to where he can't run around as a mage for a while, make him study and rewrite his book. Story wise i cannot let him say retired as friends and family die in a war he is capable of doing something in, retired or no. You allowed raven to edit, allow me please. If i'm not allowed to edit i cannot think of a way to make him leave the site as i have told Corey i would. the only way i can think of Kaze leaving elmshade would be in a coffin and i realy don't want that to happen, i have played him for 10 years and he hasn't died in all the games he has been through and that is saying something with my father as a DM. Let me know your replies.
thanks
Joe

Joe,

I'll try to get a manager's meeting together in the next week so we can discuss this.  If not, we'll (the managers) discuss it on the manager's site.  I'm letting you know before hand that there is a slim to none chance that we will allow Kaze to be played.  It's not simply the fact of his items, its the fact that he is a level 18 character, and in multiple classes at that.  There is no other player character on this site that powerful.  It is my understanding that Arienne (the character) is being retired after this discussion with the Weremacht and will assume NPC status only.  If A can figure out a way to do it, I'm sure you could as well.  I doubt Raven will be adventuring any more either, but that's just a guess from seeing recent events.

Like I said, I will post something on the manager's site about this and try to get a discussion on the boards going or a meeting to take place, depending on what the other managers deem is appropriate.  Know that last time we discussed this; we tried to considered ways to let you play Kaze, but didn't think any of them were fair.

One of the other managers or I will let you know when a decision has been made.  I think I speak for all four of us when I say that in the likely event that we decide Kaze will be retired, it will be the final time we discuss it.

Joe,

This issue has already been discussed between all of us. We have already talked about this in private.

We're glad you don't want Kaze to leave the site, but we have already discussed this issue.

Expect an e-mail from us. Thanks.
