Location: Secluded Forest Farmstead. Post transcribed from chat. Post 1 of 3. | Hi’el: ES Village: An hour after sunrise, Riddik finds himself on street cleaning detail picking up manure and other trash or refuse. While in the performance of his duties, paying off his civil debt, he sees coming down the road from the Temple of Meilikki... Hi’el: ES Village: ...the Shadoweir, Hi'el Troiye, garbed as always in his leaf pattern cloak of forest tones, a long sleeve, dark green shirt that laces up the front, and the black billowy satin pants with pulled down leather boots. He carries his cased ... Hi’el: ES Village: ...longbow and staff, and wears his two scimitars, array of daggers, wood stakes, lasso, quiver and survival pack. He approaches with a fast fluid gate as though heading some place fast, even though he's just walking. He approaches where ... Hi’el: ES Village: ...you're working, and nods to you, saying Hi’el: "Mielikki's Grace Upon You, Riddik. Stop what you're doing. You're to come with me. I have these for your use. They're yours until they fail you." Riddik looks up to Hi’el from his work, snorting.... "What am I to do now? And with what?" Hi’el removes a wrapped bundle, concealed beneath his cloak, and drops it at his hoofs. The clink of metal can be clearly heard. The bundle consists of a survival pack, a staff, and when unwrapped two long sword and two daggers (drow make). Hi’el tells Riddik Hi’el: "I think these items might help you." Riddik picks up the pack, and examines the items. Riddik then smiles looking up to Hi’el. "Finally. An adventure. At least its not trash detail." Hi’el nods and tells him Hi’el: "Here's the deal. The druids have felt a disturbance in the balance of the forest far to the northwest of here at least a full days travel for me. We are to go there and find out what is happening there. There have been rumors of peoples and families... Hi’el: "...disappearing in the region. We're going to go pay a visit to some of the outlying dwelling and see if everything’s okay." Hi’el asks Hi’el: "Any questions?" Riddik: Okay. What about my civil debt here? They just gonna let me leave? Hi’el nods and replies Hi’el: "The High Priestess of Mielikki's Temple has made arrangements with the Elmshade city council. This will count as part of your civil debt." Hi’el watches the minotaur. Riddik nods.... "Alright then. The sooner its paid, the sooner I can go look for my boat." Hi’el tells him Hi’el: "Right let's be on our way." Riddik equips himself, putting the extra sword away wrapped, keeping the other out. He puts the daggers in his loincloth waist strap. One on each side. And straps the staff onto the pack on his back. "Ok. Lets go." Riddik: I hope you can hunt with that bow of yours. This food might last a couple days at most. Riddik: If you think we need more supplies, I can pull a cart. Hi’el turns, and starts walking out of the village. Hi’el replies over his shoulder Riddik follows Hi’el, test swinging the sword, checking its balance as we go. Hi’el: "No you can't take a cart where we're going, and it would slow us down. We'll find food along the way." Riddik nods. Satisfied with Hi’el's answer, and the balance of the sword. A little flimsy, like it is elven, but it will work...for now. Hi’el Observation: Riddik notices Hi’el walks faster than you do, or any human you've ever met. And as always is surrounded by the scent of horses about him as though he worked constantly in a stables. As you're following him, you get notice the obvious ... Hi’el Observation: ... for the first time. He didn't leave boot prints, but hoof prints, un-cloven and round like a horse's. And when the sun hits him just right, the shadow he casts show's equine legs and a tail. Riddik sniffs the air, and the ground behind Hi’el. Trying to figure the scent out... "Why do you hide your legs?" Hi’el grins and says to Riddik over his shoulder Hi’el: "Can't put anything past you." Hi’el continues saying Riddik taps his snout...."not this nose." ...And laughs. Hi’el: "Humans aren't to be trusted." Hi’el asks Hi’el: "How often have you been treated like pond scum in a human town?" Riddik: Many times. But there are some port towns where I'm known, and the humans there treat me with respect. Hi’el nods and replies Hi’el: "Yes, but they're the exception and not the rule. They fear what they don't understand or know."" Riddik nods understanding...."Well my rule is, if ya don’t like me. Then stay outta my way, or get trampled!"...Laughs. Hi’el brushes a hand over a buckle on his loincloth, and the human fascade concealing his equine features drops. Reddish chestnut brown hair covers his lower horse like body, and two equine ears poking through his hair. Hi’el snorts and tells Riddik Hi’el: "That's one approach to interacting with humans, unfortunately it oft times winds up in blood shed. Come we have a long way to go. I hope you can run." Hi’el takes up a ground eating jog Riddik smiles...."Heh. Now you look better. Sure I can run. Question is...can you keep up?"...takes off after Hi’el. Hi’el laughs, and replies Hi’el: "Yes, I'm sure keeping up with boat riding sailor like yourself is going to tax my abilities. Hey, what's on your menu of food items? I'm mostly vegetarian." Riddik: Me too. However my favorite food is sea plant life. But I wont be seeing any of that for a while. Hi’el nods, and tells him Hi’el: "Good. We should get along just fine as you're in the company of a amateur forest chef. The forest will provide out fare." Riddik nods thinking Hi’el's correct. He’s already had a few tasty vegetables here. Hi’el: Forest: Hi’el and Riddik travel throughout the day. The Shadoweir leads the Minotaur relentlessly on into the forest, seemingly picking paths at random, but always heading northwest. Often the Silenni runs out in advance of Riddik only to return later.. Hi’el: Forest: ...with wild grown edibles nuts, onions, berries, seeds, water crest, tubers, lentils, mushrooms. By midday, he'd amassed a full bag of forest fare for their evening's meal. Hi’el Time: In late afternoon, a couple of hours from sunset, a farmstead comes into sight through the forest. Hi’el stops behind a stand of trees, stares through the break in the woods at the dwelling. Riddik comes to a stop behind Hi’el, panting, and huffing..."Well...what do...you think?" Hi’el smiles at the huffing and puffing of sailing minotaur, and tells him Hi’el: "We wait and watch... What's wrong with this picture?" Hi’el points at the dwelling Riddik: I don’t see anyone. For a farmstead, they should be working past sunset. Hi’el sweats freely, and his equine heritage is very noticeable in his scent. He isn't breathing hard. Hi’el nods his agreement with Riddik, and tells him Hi’el: "No people, no animals, no smoke, no noise... let's go knock and find out who's home. Let's stick together on this one." Hi’el uncases his longbow, puts the oilskin away, and strings his long bow. Riddik pulls his sword, nodding to Hi’el. His own sweaty perfume, blowing on the breeze. Hi’el: Farmstead: From their vantage point, there is one large barn, a family dwelling, a chicken coop and a sunken cellar behind the main house. Hi’el points to the barn, and says Hi’el: "We'll start with the outlying buildings and work our way through. I think we can assume that were walking into a trap." Riddik: Ok. What makes you think it’s a trap. Do they know were coming? Riddik looks around nervously. Hi’el looks at the minotaur, and then around the clearing holding the farmstead. He then grins and says Hi’el: "Well, as I see it we'll find out if it's a trap when we get there. Tell you what I'm not too fond of fighting up close. That's why I got this." Hi’el hefts his bow, and pulls out an arrow knocking it. Riddik nods..."That’s ok. Ill handle the close up situations, you just watch my back." He then pushes through the remaining brush out into the clearing, and heads for the barn. Hi’el: Barn: The barn is a two story affair, with hayloft above. The side facing Hi’el and Riddik shows fenced in animal runs and pens for livestock. There are no animals apparent in the enclosures. There is a rear entrance to the barn and hayloft window. Hi’el follows behind Riddik moving off to his flank, the bow held at the ready. Riddik looks to Hi’el..."Come run toward me, and put yer hoof in my palm. I'll launch you up to the window, and then Ill go in from the back door. Hi’el Undead: The rear wall of the barn explodes outward as two rotting, stinking 9’ tall corpses which shouldn’t be walking slam through the wall out into the livestock yards where Riddik stands, thinking to hoist Hi’el up into the hayloft window. Riddik isn’t Hi’el Undead: surprised. The slow moving corpses move toward Riddik. Hi’el: Game: ACTION Riddik Riddik blurts out a quick..."Oh Shit!"...then swings out with his long sword, slashing at the closest corpse. Hi’el: Game: Roll to hit Trealina in her doe form quickens her pace preparing to change back.... Hi’el simultaneous with Riddik’s exclamation he says Hi’el: "Mielikki Be Kind!" Hi’el lifts and sends three quick arrows down range Riddik: (Riddik rolled 16 to hit.) Hi’el: Game: Roll to damage Riddik: (18 DMG) Hi’el: Right Zombie: Three of Hi’el’s arrows plow into the beast hitting it in the leg (7hps), chest (6hps) and abdomen (7hps) [total 20 hps]. It continues to stand and attack Riddik, but misses (hit=4). Trealina as she transforms Trealina is repulsed by the stench of the undead that disgraces Meilikki’s lands. Knowing she has not the time to string her bow she pulls her two of silver reedy to attack when in range, her leather armor is a light tan Hi’el: Left Zombie: Riddik’s blade bites deep cleaving into the right shoulder (18 hps). The moaning zombie lifts it’s rotted arms over head and smashes them down at the minotaur, and successfully connects (hit=19), pummeling his right shoulder (10hps). Hi’el: Game: Movement/Action Hi’el spies Trealina emerging from the forest, and yells out a warning to Riddik, while launching three more arrows at the walking abominations. Riddik: shoulder the one he hit, trying to knock it down. (Str 20), stepping to the side readying himself for the other one. (Rolled 13 to hit. 8 Str Dmg.) Hi’el: "Riddik! You got a friendly coming up behind you." Hi’el Game: Observation/Perception Check Riddik: (Rolled a 12. Failed.) Trealina gracefully approaches the battle her scimitars singing in the air as she dodges attacks entering the battle she holds her swords keeping one high and one low to block any forth coming attacks as she swings (18) with the other Hi’el: Observation: Both Riddik and Hi’el are otherwise distracted and don’t notice, but Trealina does as she enters melee. Something else large was coming out of the barn. Riddik: Back. Nope don’t have one of those Hi’el.) Hi’el: Right Zombie: Hi’el experiences some bad luck (first arrow Hit=1, no other arrow attack). The longbow string snapped. Hi’el begins replacing. Hi’el: Left Zombie: Riddik’s shoulder slam does minimal damage (4hps) hitting the beastie in the gut. It remains standing. Left Zombie and Right Zombie attack Riddik, him without mercy hitting him in the left shoulder (hit:16, 11hps) and chest... Hi’el: Left Zombie: ... (hit:19, 10hps). Trealina’s blade strikes true into the left arm (6hps) of the one zombie Riddik had been attacking. Hi’el: Game: Riddik constitution check Riddik: (rolled 8. Made it.) Hi’el: Game: Round 3; Movement/Action Hi’el Observation: The newest contestant emerges from the barn behind the zombies. A 9’ tall skeleton carrying a oaken club. Riddik Riddik shakes his head, woozy from the massive blows. Riddik backs away from the slow moving creatures, trying to don’t them, and take them on 1 at a time. He looks to his side at the as he backs away, holding his wounded shoulder. Riddik: (Hold attacks to parry any don’t at him) Hi’el completes restringing his bow, and puts it into action, sending two arrows toward the zombies. Hi’el: Right Zombie: Hi’el gets off one hit striking the critter in the upper chest (hit:14, 8hps), and drops the zombie to the ground, and again experiences some bad luck (second arrow Hit=1, bow smacks him in the face 4hps) Hi’el lets out an expletive in his native tongue Riddik: (loll. Time for a new to hit die.) Hi’el: Game: Riddik Roll Parry Riddik: (Adjusted 15.) Hi’el: Left Zombie: Once more the zombie attacks the minotaur, but misses with it’s clumsy efforts to smash him into bovine paste. Trealina as she sees the skeletal beast she advances towards it shifting her blades to be for a blunt attack Hi’el: Skeleton: The oaken club of the skeleton smashes the earth at Trealina’s feet making it shiver from the impact. She batters her blades against the hard bone of the skeleton hitting the arm with one flat blade (Hit:14, 7hps). The other misses (Hit:3) Trealina: (at lest don’t blunt attack) Hi’el: Game: Round 4; Movement/Action Riddik roars defiantly, not ready to loose this fight to a stupid zombie. He slashes out again with his L.Sword. (Adjusted 12 to hit. 11 DMG) Hi’el shakes off his embarrassing ‘slip’ with the bow, and continues to send arrows at the other zombie confronting Riddik Trealina: " I have seen My Nemesis and will blight then in Meilikki’s name" Trealina: (battle cry^) Hi’el: Left Zombie: Riddik’s blade cleaves into the zombies gut spilling putrescent entrails on the ground as multiple arrows sprout from the upper chest (hit:14), right arm (hit:21), and neck (hit:21). Needless to say the zombie collapses dead as it should be. Hi’el: Skeleton: The oaken club of the skeleton come whistling down once more barely missing removing Trea’s head from her shoulders. She is missing a few blonde hairs where they snagged in the clubs roots. Trealina: Thanking Meilikki silently for its clumsy attack....she swings again with the flat of her right blade at the beasts ugliness (17 natural....+1 elf =18){crosses fingers and holds breath} Hi’el: Skeleton: Trealina’s smacks into the ribcage of the monster skeleton, and cracks in some ribs (5hps). The skeleton is still standing. Hi’el: Game: Round 5; Movement/Action Trealina: (init 5) Hi’el drops his bow, and pulls free his staff while running up to where Riddik and Trealina fought. (Init 4) Riddik Riddik pulls out the staff in his other hand, and approaches the skeleton. (Init 6) Hi’el tries a new move, using his staff to pole vault and kick the beast. He’s never done this before. Trealina Trealina swing high to the monsters head in anger missing wit the right almost loosing her balance she misses her back swing with the left (2 and 6) Trealina: "get down here where don’t can reach you ..you !" (yelling in anger) Hi’el: Skeleton: The big ugly attacks first before any of the stalwart adventurers. It swings its club in a horizontal arc coming straight at Riddik and whistles past his nose sparing him a face lift (hit:7). Trealina misses pathetically with both blades... Riddik: swings the staff Hi’el gave him earlier, hoping it don’t snap. ((Adjusted 14 to hit, -2 non proficient. 12 Dmg.)) Hi’el: Skeleton: Hi’el misses pathetically also (hit:5, -4 penalty to attack), but doesn’t fall in his attempt to kick the monster. Riddik’s powerful swing with staff cracks across the skeleton’s skull shattering it to pieces and disintegrates the rest of the... Hi’el: Skeleton: baddy into skeleton bits. Hi’el: Game: End Combat Trealina runs into the barn although ..looking for any signs of others... Trealina hen returns back out sheathing her weapons Riddik sits down where he’s at, hurt, and bleeding. Riddik: Ouch! That hurt. Hi’el pants heavily leaning on his staff, and looks at Riddik, telling him Trealina the strange Riddik Trealina: May I see that wound" Hi’el: "You’re not suppose to stand in the way when they try to hit you." Trealina: turns to Hi’el..."like you are suppose to have a bow string mark your face ....either" Trealina begins pulling out a first aid kit Riddik laughs at Hi’el's remark, then looks up to Trealina...showing her his shoulder, chest, and other shoulder...."Thanks for your help young lady. I would have been a gonner if it for you out." Riddik looks to Hi’el..."And yer bow as well friend. Thanks." Trealina: The way I missed....I think I need to go back to my swordmaster... Riddik: Provided enough distraction. Plus I don’t think were outta danger yet. Trealina cleans the wounds applying some red and white powder that bites at the wound

Location: Secluded Forest Farmstead. Post transcribed from chat. Post 2 of 3. | Hi’el: Observation: The barn is in shambles. Animal blood and stinking entrails are all over the place, some carcasses of horses, cattle and pigs lie in the stalls. The front doors of the barn were ripped open. Hi’el rubs at his face sheepishly, and laughs as well, saying Trealina bandages and wraps anything open with clean linen she tears from a shirt in her bag Hi’el: "Yes, release the string, not the bow... I'll have to remember that." Riddik winces as Trealina tends his wounds...."Ouch!" He looks to the barn and the carnage inside to get his attention elsewhere from his pain. Trealina: Lord Hi’el ...are you in need of my aid as well Hi’el shakes his head no, and tells her Hi’el: "I'll be fine." Trealina: nods then focuses on Riddik again Hi’el was wearing the ring he'd taken from the Daywalker Vampire. Trealina: (riddik gets 2 hp for my healing right.... due to herbalism and healing proficiencies...or is it 3) Hi’el: (Riddik has three wounds. Roll 3 separate checks. Each successful check can restore between 0-3 hps) Trealina: (roll % or 20?) Hi’el: (20) Trealina: (6 to shoulder) Trealina: 8 to other shoulder) Trealina: 18 to chest) Hi’el keeps watch on the rest of the farmstead watching for any other nasties Hi’el: (what's your healing score?) Trealina: (12) Trealina: herbalism is 10) Hi’el Healing: Trea successfully treats two of Riddik's wounds for 2 and 3 hps respectively. She needs more training for the 3rd wound. Trealina looking at the chest wound still seeping... Hi’el looks up at the sky, and judges they had less than an hour left of light. He had a bad feeling about being outside tonight. Riddik: (at 16, of 42 now. Thanks Trea.) Trealina: "i'm sorry ...but my basic skills will prevent this from infection for now. but you need more than my medicine... Trealina: (to riddik) Hi’el calls back Hi’el: "How's he doing? Should we call on Mielikki's Grace to heal him?" Riddik stands up once Trea has finished. "Thank you. I’m sure it would have been worse without your help." Trealina: I can no get the chest wound to stop bleeding although it has slowed Hi’el tells Trea Riddik pokes at the chest wound...."Its just a scratch. We have more important matters at hand." Hi’el: "Come take watch. I'll call upon our Goddess to heal him." Trealina: and losing blood how ever much will weaken you under stress Trealina: "yes Lord Hi’el" Riddik looks to them both, blood dribbling down his stomach...."So you two know each other then?" Hi’el waits for Trea to take up his watch position. Trealina pulls her bow from her back and strings it notching an arrow just in case, and goes to where Hi’el indicated to stand watch Hi’el comes back to where Riddik stands and nods to him saying Hi’el: "Yes, we are from the same Temple. Now hold still." Riddik nods to Hi’el, whispering down to him, watching Trea walk away...."She’s pretty. What’s her name?" Trealina listens carefully to the land as she watches carefully with her elven eyes Hi’el places the long slender fingers of his hand upon Riddik's chest, and closes his eyes, breathing in deep. He quietly prays to his Goddess for several moments. He whispers Hi’el: "Great Forest Mother, I humbly ask You impart upon me Your healing power. Allow me to heal this soul of the land who is in need, and serves Your Cause. I pray to You, Mielikki, my Goddess." Hi’el CLW X3: Repeats his prayer several times. Each time a surge of warmth comes from the Silenni's hand and flows through his fingers into Riddik's chest and to the wounds he suffered (18hps) Trealina: btw my hair is green remember Hi’el it is spring) Riddik: (18 pts each time, or is that a total of the three?) Hi’el: (O yea... Total of all three, common you know better CLW) Riddik: OH CLW = Cure light wounds. Sorry didn’t catch that.lol.) Riddik: (cool. I’m at 31 now.) Hi’el leans on his staff after completing the healing, and tells the minotaur Riddik breaths easier now. Feeling the healing power close his wounds. He pats Hi’el on the shoulder..."Thank you. I feel much better now." Hi’el: "That will keep you in the land of the living for a while longer. Come on. We need to take the farm house before night fall. I have a bad feeling about this." Trealina: Hi’el...we need safe shelter... soon Hi’el nods at Trea, and tells her Riddik: I agree. Lets go to the house next. We may need to board it up for the night. Hi’el: "Stay on watch. I need to get my bow, and salvage some arrows." Hi’el runs back to where he'd dropped his bow and pack. He grabs them up, and goes back to where the zombie lay and begins pulling arrows. He recovers all 5 arrows. He tells the others Hi’el: "Right let's go!" Riddik keeps the staff and L. Sword in hand, and walks through the barn towards the house. Hi’el stows the staff away, and knocks an arrow as he moves out Riddik's right a dagger's throw away. He tells the minotaur Hi’el: "Riddik, meet Trealina. She is a member of Mielikki's Temple as I am. Trealina meet Riddik, ocean-sailing pirate." Trealina nods Riddik glares at Hi’el...."Pirate!. I’m no scoundrel Pirate. I’m an honest living cargo Captain."" Trealina: A pleasure to battle beside you...great Riddik" Riddik smiles nodding to Trea..."Nice to meet you too." Hi’el: Farmhouse: On approach to the farm house from the barn, the chicken coop is on the left side of the party. The sunken cellar is on the right side of the party at the rear of the farm house. Hi’el laughs and tells Riddik Hi’el: "But it sounded good." Trealina: she joins the others with quiet and graceful steps, she wears a light tan leather armor....the symbol of meilikki around her neck...scimitars now holstered front and back of her thin waist, she stands 5'4 her eyes are now a brilliant green as is her ... Trealina hair she continues to keep her bow at ready Riddik chuckles at Hi’el, returning his attention back to the scene. Hi’el: Game: Trealina Roll for Surprise Trealina: 3) Hi’el: Coop: As Trealina passes near the chicken coop, a feathered human sized skeleton slams open the door, and comes at her holding a skewering knife. Hi’el: Skeleton: It makes a sweeping slash with the knife missing Trealina's arm. Trealina taking by surprise she prematurely releases the string of her bow... sending it sailing wildly through the air Hi’el: Skeleton: Chicken blood, entrails, and feathers are stuck to the bloody skeleton. The arrow Trea loosed finds a new home in the forest.

Location: Secluded Forest Farmstead. Post transcribed from chat. Post 3 of 3. | Trealina: WE HAVE COMPANY Hi’el: Game: Trealina Roll Initiative (Skeleton = 6) Trealina: (7) Hi’el: Skeleton: Again the crazy chicken feathered skeleton stabs the knife at her, and this time catches her, cutting her left arm (6hps). (Trea Attack) Hi’el holds his position watching for other baddies, his bow held ready to fire. Trealina swings her bow a it (its in her hands after all 14) then kicks at it hoping to knock it down (18) Hi’el sees Trea get hurt, and can't help himself, runs to help her Hi’el: Skeleton: The skeleton crumples with a single blow of Trea's bow, and doesn't break her bow. Hi’el: (say that three times quick) Trealina then collapses weak from loosing 3/4 of her HP) Hi’el: Game: Trealina constitution check Trealina: (constitution is a 14 I rolled 1) Trealina: (I knew that pesty number would pop in sooner or later) Hi’el: Game: Trea is conscious after taking such a grievous wound. Hi’el: Game: Trealina roll 10 sided Trealina: (9) Riddik raises his staff to help Trea...a little late. She already felled the creature, so he walks over to her side keeping a look out. "You ok Trealina?" Hi’el (3) arrives in time to catch her when she collapses from the attack. Hi’el tells her Hi’el: "Easy, you're going to be okay." Riddik: We really need some shelter now. Were gettin murdered out here. The place is crawlin with undead. Hi’el tells Riddik Hi’el: "keep watch. I can only pray this one last time for help." Riddik nods to Hi’el, standing guard while he tends to Trealina. Hi’el holds the wound both hands applying pressure and raises it over her head. He quietly prays whispering over her head Hi’el: "Great Mielikki, I hold in my hands one of Your Servants, wounded in your service. Let Your Healing power flow through me, and into her. I humbly ask this." Hi’el CLW: The glowing warmth of Mielikki suffuses Hi’el's hands flows into the wound suffered by Trealina. Within moments she's healed (7hps) of her injury. Trealina smiles up at Hi’el Hi’el helps up Trealina, and tells her Trealina: Thanks.... Hi’el: "You're welcome. Let's get inside." Trealina holds her arm testing it briefly Trealina: Wait! Hi’el looks Trea Hi’el: "What is it?" Trealina: Falling startled once is enough for me...can we check out the cellar first... Hi’el: Farm House: The shadows grow long, and light is dwindling fast. Only half an hour until the sunsets. Hi’el asks Trealina: (any plants near by close enough to touch that is) Riddik: We don’t have the time. We need to get inside and board it up before more come out. These things are more active at night. Hi’el: "Check the cellar? Why? That's the last place I'd want to check right now." Hi’el: (plants, yes by the house, decorative, a few small trees, etc) Trealina: so you want to go in ...board up a small farm house with no exit....so that any crawlies ugly things already in the cozy dark can punch through the floor boards and trap us in a nice little closed up coffin" Hi’el looks at Trea, and tells her Trealina: We could send a nice little field mouse in there to look around for us Hi’el looks at Trea, and tells her Riddik: At least that way only a few can get to us at a time. Well check out the house first of course. Hi’el: "Instead of talking let us go clean out the place we'll be sheltering, and quickly." Trealina shakes her head and walks over to the plants holding it in a bare hand very delicately she uses her mothers talent to talk to the plant...asking if there are any other evils inside the house or cellar Riddik nods his agreement to Hi’el. And turns toward the house. Hi’el: Plants: The flowers and trees say "There is walking plant food inside." Riddik: Great. Kinda figured that. Hi’el: (Only Trea heard that ) Trealina giggles Trealina picks up her bow restringing it and pull s three arrows, placing one behind each ear and another notching Trealina: anyone care for some target practice Hi’el puts his bow away, and pulls his scimitars, giving them a spin for feel. Trealina goes over to a window Hi’el tells the group Hi’el: "Let's do some house cleaning. Trea gets windows." Hi’el: "You and I get the trash." Hi’el says to Riddik Hi’el moves to the door of the farm house Trealina: (windows are open or closed) Riddik nods, and moves to the door. He first tries the handle to see if it will open, before kicking it down. Hi’el: Farmhouse: The dark house is one story, large enough to have several rooms. The windows are not all intact. Some have been broken from without and within. The door is ajar. Trealina: "by the grace of Meilikki, bless us all to rid the land of evil " Trealina: (anyone for a +1 to all checks) Hi’el: Bless: In effect. Riddik opens the door and rushes in, giving Hi’el room to enter. He quickly scans the immediate area, using his Alertness, and Observation. Hi’el goes in after Riddik. Hi’el Main Room: On the other side of the door, the stench of death and rot was thick. It waited for the two warriors in the darkness, the first came shambling and slow. The other growled with unearthly hunger, screaming "Fresh meat!" Trealina grimaces at the roar Hi’el: Game: Round 1 (Actions/Initiative) Riddik raises his L.sword and rushes the one speaking, slashing down hard at it. (Init=9 ; To hit= adjusted 20 ; 16 Dmg) Trealina watches carefully waiting for the opportunity to see her target clearly Hi’el follows after Riddik, and moves to intercept the shambling humanoid. He stabs out with both blades at the beastie. Trealina: Anyone need a little light ? Hi’el: Undead 1: Riddik finds he has his hands full when the speaking critter launches itself at him fast and feral, clawing and biting at him. The stinking undead swipes with two claws and makes a lunging bite, but all miss. Then his blade pierces through... Hi’el: Undead 1: ...uglies chest and it stops screaming with a gurgling sigh. It collapses to the floor. Hi’el screams Hi’el: "Yes, give us light!"
