I am a child of the light,

warrior of all that is right

Son of God, stron and true,

made whole for destinty anew.

 

Armed with the sword of truth, I bring down my foes

the shield of faith, protects me from my woes,

the armor of God protects me from harm,

and keeps me away from the devil's charm.

It gleems as bright as daylight,

I am a child of the light.

 

Through the eyes of God,

I see my destiny, my hopes, my future.

It is brighter than anything this world can offer,

It shows me the way unclouded,

and keeps me out of the darkness shrouded.

These eyes have seen and known all pains,

because they have taken on the blood's stains.

They help me look upon a new height,

I am a child of the light.

 

The hands of God surround me,

helping me, supporting me, guiding me

they open up all the doors to what I see,

and show me the kind of person I am ment to be.

They hold me when I am broken,

and love me unspoken,

their stains wash me clean,

and empower me unseen,

They strenghen me for the fight,

I am a child of the light.

 

What is a child of the light?

It stands for all that is right,

doing the work with God's might,

it is focused on the fight,

do defeat the demons of the night,

and rise up to a new height,

That is what a Child of the light.
