Darkness, alone in the world

by myself, in a corner I am curled.
Seperated, and set apart
dreaming dreams of a broken heart

 

Falling, love causing such a yearning

deep inside, passions fire is burning

but the forces start their calls

and down the rain falls

the words fall like the rain

and the passion inside becomes a sharp pain

it is hard to end, but easy to start

these are dreams of a broken heart

 

Friends come and lovers go,

like the rivers rugged flow

It was like wheeling myself in a cart

trying to pick up the pieces, was the hardest part,

pieces of these dreams of a broken heart.

 

Why can't I see,
what is ment to be?
why can't I feel

what I know is true and real,

cause lonliness is my only art

and these are the dreams of my broken heart.
