Through A Star To see a world, through the eyes of a star, Is to see everyone as they truly are, Not really noticing all your wounded scars, Weather it be so near, or so far All people look the same, through a star. To be so bright, And see all things in a heavenly light, Knowing that you are the one who can now stand, By the saving grace of a holy hand, Watching and guiding you from afar, All with the eyes that shine through a star. From time to time, All people make up their own rhyme, Singing songs and knowing peace All to bring about a new cease, And all with the grace, Of living at their own pace, So live like you are, And follow your dreams, through a star. Just As You Are How do you get seen? Calm and rejected, Or angry and mean? Lost and rejected, Or hopeful and not neglected? Do you get seen just as you are? Or do people give you looks from a far? What makes us so unique? Our eyes, our skin, our physique? Our hearts, souls and minds, All give off different signs. Just as you are unique, So did someone stronger make you complete. Just as you are someone special, Someone else has made you imageful, An object to be seen and used, To work for pleasure, and not be abused He wants to see you, and make it know a far, That everyone one should see you, Just as you are. 03/23/2004 J.
