Greetings.  Just signed up here and looking around.  I haven't rolled up a character yet, but am looking forward to doing so and joining the fun.  Thanks for having me!

Mike

Hi Mike,

Welcome to Elmshade.  We're glad to have you.

You have a few options for rolling up a character.  You can:

1) Roll one up and send it to us managers, once we approve it then you can enter the general town area such as the weapon shop, general store, or twisted root (the inn and tavern.). Here it is just general roleplay.  No monsters, no adventures, just every day life.  The only exception would be if you wanted to take your character to the sparring arenas and search out an opponent to fight.

2) You can contact some of the DM's and see if they have any game openings.  I think Loki ([email protected]) is open to having some new characters join in on Candles in the Storm. You can also check out the other MT's and see if their Dm's have any openings.

If you need any help with anything (game rules, spicing up your posts, etc.) don't be afraid to ask.  My e-mail is [email protected] and the general managers account is [email protected].  You can also post questions and such on the OOC boards, as many of our members are glad to help.

We're looking forward to having you around,
Reyco Asdwon
Assistant Manager

Heyla Mike,

Welcome to Elmshade! I've been doing online rp for almost four years now and find this site a true pleasure to be a part of. The Managers are fair and understanding. The RP in this group is really exceptional. I've two characters her, a Paladin Eleine in   Babes in the Woods, and a specialty character in Candles of the Storm. The Managers here were kind enough to allow me resume playing Rashwen, the Pseudodragon familar of Arienne starsinger.

Once again, welcome and I look forward to Roleplaying with you soon!

Thanks to you both for the replies!  I like to start characters from the beginning, so I'll probably roll up something at 1st level and have him or her bop around town for awhile and then look for some adventure if there are any games available for such young green whippersnappers!   I haven't decided yet what kind of character to play yet... decisions, decisions!

Another Mike? Cool.

Put someone together and throw it out there. Chances are you'll run into something I have a hand in.

I'm easy to get along w/so just get a char going that you like the sound of and jump in most anywhere when you can. Any questions I, or any manager, will help you with as much as possible.

get your game on and Enjoy.

Hey Mike.
I'm kinda disappointed that i was away and didn't get to be the first to welcome you. (i normally welcome in the new peopl) but ow well. I saw your interest in a 1st level game and i am DMing one that already started but were at a point now where we can fit another player. I'll accept anything although a thief or any form of spell caster (including Cleric) would be helpful to the party. I plan on making this a campaign style game so play what ever your confortable with. if your interested. Email me and let me know what you think.
Joe
