Umm Loki, regarding your post for the Lockheed/Rashwen thread....there are no eggs as of yet. Rashween has to carry them inside of her for I believe 4 weeks, then she lays them. After another four weeks the hatchlings hatch.

Wells Loki, I was guessing, but I know it takes time for the shells to form inside Rashwen. I made it 8 weeks total because I would imagine that since they are wild animals (albit long lived ones) the cluthcing time would have to be quick. However I am inclined to believe that once they hatch, it will take quite a long time for them to grow up until they can be on their own. A matter of years in fact. Rosemary won't come into heat again for at least 20-30 years and the clutch sizes are usually only 2-3 eggs. Of those eggs I am guessing that a good 3/4 are male. so that makes the females rare and even more prized. It would also prevent places from being overrun by Psuedodragons and would explain why the Queen is the dominate one of the pair.

That sounds fine to me. I don't see any reason to disagree. It's a fantasy game so do what you like. You can't harm anything imo. If you left it to me I would have researched a few reptiles or based some of it on dragon physiology.

 

In my versions the males expend so much energy they usually plummet to thier death after mating. I guess I prefer greek and asian tradgedies. I always liked the black widow version, "She mates and then she kills" Alot of species has bigger and more dominate females. Well insects anyway...

 

As you've noticed, Locks is considered an aquatic-based asian for sake of game, and so far I much prefer the way they can't communicate outright. *grins* a  lil critter romance that exceeds the boundaries of language and backgrounds is much more interesting to me

 

I would expect 2 eggs I think, a male and a female perhaps. Twins in a way? Just an idea. Each w/different abilites and personalties?

 

I'm totally open tho, let me know and I'm sure I'll play along

 

Keep thinking of what you want to see happen next and i'll come up with some plot hooks that'll make it intersting (I hope)

Lets not do the checking via email- but I do have a request for you. Could you please type out full words instead of shorthand? It making things easier for me to read. I tend to be a bit annoying about the typing shorthand when it is used in posts.
