The white and gold robes of the white mage fluttered in the Elmshade winds like a lazy blowing flag as Raven walked around the foundations of the destroyed Elmshade Temple. He often shakes his head and prods loose stones with the end of his staff as he examines the destruction.
Unfortunatly Raven missed the great battle that took place here, he was tied up with other matters.... like the opening of the ruins.... which he still hadnt finished. The key came up missing the same time his potions that sustained him for two weeks wore off. To say the least the white wizard took a long nap after that and missed a lot going on.
Raven rubs his chin as he circles the Temples crumbled walls, and removing any loose debris that covers the foundations edges. He leans down to dust off one of the many arcane runes etched into the foundation long ago when it was constructed. Raven himself was here to cast his magical blessings on variouse stages of the construction. The temple had been destroyed before, so the mage thought it wise to take certain precautions with this structure. He placed several magical runes of protection, warding, and symbols of Mystra across its base. Even more important were the four corner foundation markers, heavily enchanted with chronomancy symbols.
Raven smiled as he found all the runes and symbols intact. He took a few steps away from the Temple still smiling as he looked around the temple grounds. Apparently everyone was still at Starsinger Tower recouperating from the battle. He had sent his daughter to send word of his return to the other Trinity Mages. Things must be worse than expected for them, for no one had showed yet. The battle here at the temple was a brutal and bloody one indeed, fresh blood still lingered here and there.
Raven made himself comfortable on a nearby slab of stone, and waited patiently while preparing for the spells he would soon cast over the Temple and activate the power symbols he placed there long ago.

As Raven sat waiting, a spectral image floated towards him. It soon resolved itself in the darkness and became the familiar image of Arienne. She was traveling through her enchanted couch tonight, which indicated to the White Wizard that she must be tired, indeed.

"Hello, Raven," the ghostly elven maid smiled at him, floating closer. "I saw the Dias sphere and figured either you or Silvara had called a meeting, though I didn't expect to find you here. Angel came by the Tower earlier to let me know you were awake. I must say it's good to see you up and about, my friend. You had us all worried."

Raven looked up as Ariennes transparent image approached him. He gave a slight nod as she spoke... "Yes, I am fine now. A little sleep makes all the difference, but thank you for your concern."
Ravens eyes went back to the ruined Temple, yet his mind remained aware of Arienne and he continued to speak. "We lost a good number of people here didnt we?" He shakes his head a moment then continues. "Why the Temple of Elmshade is so cursed to be destroyed time and time again... I'll never know it seems. I only hope Sias heart is not destroyed along with it. She has endured so much, any other priestess would have left us by now." His eyes return back to look at Arienne.... "However... I am prepared this time my friend." Raven cracked a smile to the elven mage. One that indeed looked like he has something up his sleeve. "But in order for it to work... I need Siannodell and what followers she has left. Along with you and Silvara as well."
Raven looks back to the temple ruins and comtinues. "Remember the last time the Temple was destroyed? It took months for it to be rebuilt. Even with Jadzia and her followers of Meliekki to strengthen its new foundation, and our magic to seal it, we thought it would stand forevermore. I wasnt so sure, even back then dear Arienne.... so I added my own enchantments on it while it was being rebuilt. I wove magics into the very foundations of it as it was being constructed, and had to spend a lot of time here during different phases of its construction to do so.... but it was worth it." His eyes go back to Arienne... "The temple can be restored, due to those protections cast on it long ago."

Ian's Location:  At the ruins of the Alliance of the Faiths Temple

Unknown to Stormcrow and Arienne, Ian came up from the other side of the temple, also not knowing the mages were there.  His mind was so clouded, that even he couldn't think right now.  The dim sunlight from the clouded sky reflects off his clan armor as his white hair and green cloak float in the breeze.

" Quel esta Astalderea.  Cormamin niuve tenna'ta elea lle au' " Ian drops to his knees.  " I failed you mother.  I let your sacred place be destroied and now I suffer for it's fate"  The young ranger cried, unknowing that anyone could hear him.  " My power was not strong enough to win.  Why does the goddess let this happen to her servants?  I am sorry mother, I am sorry sister, for letting this terrible tragity befall your holy place.  As ranger, I should have been here, but as my mother's acolyte, I should have see this comming.  Yes I know my priestly powers didn't form like Raja's did, but she was destined to be your successor, not me, I am her brother, her guardian, and I failed her too.  I am no brother, and I am no guardian.  I don't deserve to be your acolyte any longer, nor do I diserve the sword of our family.  A Holimion I may be by blood, but a warrior's heart I do not have anylonger.  My will for vengance is over.  I have lost almost all I have, and I can not risk loosing anyone else.  My baby nephew and my father are all of my family I have, and now my girlfriend Elenia.  I don't know what she sees in me, but I am sure that it is a fools hope.  For this is 3 failures I have made in a month's time and loosing you two were the hardest thing I ever did.  I am sorry Mother, and I am truly sorry for all my wrongs."

Ian stays knelt as he cries his prayer in elven to the spirits, still unaware that anyone was there.

(ooc to raven: I figured this would be kind of appropriate, If you can't use it, delete it pls. Thanks)

Arienne's visage clouded with sadness as she surveyed the extensive damage done to the building, lingering especially on the blood stains that still soaked the ground. "Yes, we lost Sister Gwendolyn and Princess Lita. Brother Darien almost died and one of the Sentinels was killed, too. Mother Sia lost an eye, and although she still seems like the tough woman she always was, the battle and loss of life have taken their toll on her spirit." The elven lass sighed. "She has already told me she will be communing with the Goddess to seek guidance about her path in the morning, so I don't expect to see her before sunset tomorrow night."

"As for the temple itself, it's been razed, to say the least, my friend," she agreed with him. "I don't understand why, either. It's almost as if the very ground the foundations of it were laid upon was cursed." Her pale pink lips began to curl into a curious smile as Raven explained what he had done. With a sparkle in her sapphire eyes she shook her head in wonder at the White Wizard. "Indeed, you had great foresight to place such powerful magic upon the cornerstones." Arienne nodded again, impressed. "Of course, you always did think ahead Raven."

Her ghostly image floated closer to inspect one of the magically runed stones and as she did, her pointed ears caught the sound of a familiar voice. She looked over at Raven and tilted her head towards where Ian's soft voice was heard talking to himself. "It seems we are not the only ones wracked with guilt about the current state of the temple."

Raven listened quetly as Arrienne recounted the lost accolytes, and spoke of everyones recouperation at her tower. He nodded as his head dipped a moment. Lita had been killed as well... something he had not thought possible for Lita was a powerful Warrior/Mage/Priestess. This was one of many problems arrisen the past few days... and he would deal with it as well... in due time.
Raven watched as Arienne inspected a cornerstone, and with a wave of his hand... the chronomancy rune glowed brightly for her inspection. It is then they both noticed the nearby familiar voice. Raven rose from the stone and accompanied Ariennes ghostly form over to a small rubble strewn clearing where he saw Ian. His white robes rustled slightly as he came up next to his godson. He did not disturb his prayer, but only placed his hand on the young mans shoulder as Ian kneeled to pray.
When he was finished, Raven spoke softly as Ian stood back up to look on the temple ruins before them. "Ian?" The white wizard shook his head, and strengthened his grip on Ians shoulder. "How many times must I tell you... you're not to blame for your mother and sister. You, nor anyone, can stand before an army alone." His other arm swings RuneStaff out over the view of the large temple stones littering the area... "And your defenatly not responsible for this! If anyone is.... I am. I underestemated the danger the ruins hold, not only within... but what they would attract to them as well." He looks to generaly both Arienne and Ian as he speaks next. "Not only the Weremacht sends its minions to search the ruins, but other benevolent powers do as well. Elmshade will become a hot spot for danger because of them, caught in a race to uncover the ruins secrets first. And we are all only still alive because the dark forces against us dont want to take the chance on destroying key information on the ruins that any of us might hold." Raven then quiets a moment and looks back to Ian. "We need to stick together for Elmshade more than ever right now. I need you to be strong Ian."
Raven turns to look at Arienne... "We will deal with the Temple tomorrow, after everyone has had a chance to rest. We could even wait longer if needed, I will take your advice on their health and condition. I would not want to push anyone into things till they are well enough." He then smiles and continues.... "So... I see you've met Angel as well during all this? I know Ive got a lot of explaining to do to everyone concerning her... but Angel Moonsinger is indeed my daughter. I promise to tell the long story to you and Silvara soon, but right now I think everyone needs to get some rest." He looks up into the night sky above, the moonlight lighting up the area around them all. "Its been a long day."

Ian's Location:  At the ruins of the Alliance of the Faiths Temple

Ian rises from his spot on the ground as he suddenly holds his godfather close.  The last few days finally hitting him like bricks as he cries.  " I should have seen this.  My curse of insight should have seen this.  I guess my power really did die with my mother and sister.  Why can't I see what needs to be.  It has always prevented tragity, now it just haunts me."  Ian sobs, his heart expressing true feelings, something that is unusual for the young ranger, who has always been the strongest one of the Destined 3, him,  his mother Jadzia, and his fraternal twin Raja.  Ian then releases his godfather, hoping he didn't hurt him, and then sticks his mother's sword in the ground, and kneels infront of it.  " As Acolyted of the Priestess Jadzia, and by the oath of the Ranger's Code, I ask to be restored to the code of the forest.  Master Raven, Mistress Arienne, by the faith of the Trinity, I ask to be rejoined to the Acolyte Guardianship, dispite this failure.  I know I have done wrong, and I know some can not be forgiven, but I sware not to let it happen again.  By the faith of my family, I will set it right."  Ian pleads as he kneels like a squire waiting knighthood.  Just like he did when he was granted a chosen one.

Raven held Ian like a son as he wept on his shoulder, he patted Ians shoulder in understanding of his pain. In the long years of the white wizards life, he has lost many a loved one as well and knew it to be no easy matter to get over quickly. He grunted slightly as Ian squeezed him hard and clutched onto him like a scared child.
Raven listened as Ian continued to blame himself for recent events. After Ian asked to rejoin the guardianship of Elmshade, Raven gave him a curiouse look. "Rejoin?" Raven chuckles and bends down to the kneeling ranger offering him a warm smile to cheer his spirits. "As far as I know, you never left Ian." He glances over to Arienne... "And I believe Arienne will agree with me." Looking back to Ian, Raven helps his godson to his feet. "No one can ask more from you than your best Ian, and I have yet to see anything less from you. Dont concern yourself over the Temple.... I'll take care of that. I would like you to just keep your eyes and ears open for now, something stirs on the horizon, and the worst is ahead of us."

Raven hears a piece of rubble move as silent shadow leans against a barren and broken foundation wall, arms crossed. Kaze appears into sight, fully dressed in armor and weapons. Raven sees the emotion in the big mans face and he realizes that it isn't the normal bouncy eyes he has always seem in his emerald gaze. They look cold and sharp as daggers. He looks to Raven gazing into his eyes as he leans against the wall.
"Fill me in on what has happened and what now has to be done." Kaze said this in a serious and cold voice.

Instint over inhibition, as Ian feels the earth disturbed by the moving of the stone.  He jumps to his feet out of instint and pulls his mother's sword from the gound in a ready attack, only to find that it is Kaze, the master archer.  " Master Kaze, I didn't hear your approch.  Forgive me.."  Ian backs down as he stands beside his godfather and the ghost of Arienne, sheathing his mother's sword on his back

The incorporeal form of the elven maiden remained silent and observant as Ian and Raven conversed. Arienne nodded in agreement to the White Mage's statement regarding the ranger. "Of course," was all she said. She watched, amused, as Kaze appeared and diverted Raven's attention yet again. He'll have quite enough to handle with just those two, she thought. Perhaps it would be better to speak to him tomorrow, when we can speak as one mage to another.

"If you will please excuse me, I must return to the tower for the night. There are plans and preparations to be made concerning the coming war. I will awaken the others come dawn, and perhaps we can all hold council then." Her spectral image shimmered in the moonlight and her voice gained a hard edge. "We need to form a solid plan, gentlemen. Anything less will leave us at the mercies of these invading forces. And from our meeting with the Weremacht and the battle fought here at the Temple, I do not anticipate that their 'mercies' will be tender. We must unify all those we can who would help. If you're inclined, I invite all of you to Starsinger Tower for a breakfast council in the morning. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm exhausted and am in dire need of meditation and rest."

Indeed, the beautiful sorceress looked pale and drawn, and not all of it was due to her current form. "Raven, if you would somehow contact Silvara and inform her of council, I would appreciate it." Then she regarded both Kaze and Ian and tried to smile. "Both of you are integral to the success of Elmshade's defense. I hope that you can both make the meeting. Good night, all. Sunrise will come earlier than you think. Be ready." With her words fading into the evening air, her ghostly image did the same and then she was gone again, leaving the three men to their own devices for the remainder of the night.

Out of habit Kaze's bow appears in his hand,an arrow preknocked in the bow. when the sword blade flashes in the suns light. He looks to the sword and then to the boy. Memories come to him as he remembers the sword of the priestess and the young boy of which he bounced on his knee as an infant.
"Calm down boy, its an ally." Kaze looked around seeing the destruction of this once glorious temple. He kicked a piece of a staute across the temple floor. He listened to Arie speak and he acknowledeged it with a nod. "I thank you for believing i am as essential to this war as you say i am but i must ask who is Weremacht? and what is going to happen now?"

Raven nods to Kaze as he turns his direction. He waits a moment while Ian figures out who their new guest is, then lays a hand on his shoulder. He smiles and listenes to Ariennes suggestion and nods in agreement. He turns back to Kaze and Ian after Arienne vanishes. "All questions will be answered at tomorrows meeting at Starsinger tower. It has been a long day, and we all could use some rest... especially me." Raven turns and begins to walk from the Temple grounds turning around a moment before heading down the dirt road leading tward the Trinity Hill. "Come to the meeting tomorrow, both of you. We will discuss our options then. Good night gentlemen."
Raven then walks back to the Ivory tower, his mind deep in thought the whole way. There was indeed a lot to discuss at the meeting tomorrow... he only hoped they would be able to come up with some answers. He also thought of which sleeping tonic to drink tonight so he could get to sleep. Having recently woken up from a long slumber himself, he wondered if even a tonic would work. Shaking his head, he enters the base of the Ivory tower and heads up to his room.

(Sorry been so slow with this. Im back now.)
