I have an awesome doctor in Hershey, PA. Yes ladies, that's where they make the chocolate, lol. Anyway his name is Dr. Richard Pees. My husband gets a kick out of his name, but the he's a male, forgive him. Dr. Pees is a wonderful doctor. He just performed a hysterectomy on me almost 5 weeks ago. At every appointment I had with him, he was always nice and friendly. Always ready to answer any questions I (or my husband) had. Plus he wanted to make sure I knew all of the risks, options, and everything about the surgery. I would rate him a 11 out of 10. Sherry |

I have gone to Dr. Pees. He may seem nice and helpful. However, I would not recommend him if you require alot of endo care. He and his staff will tell you, they are very busy being the only teaching hospital in the area. Good luck getting an appt with him. You may see any Physiciain is his office even though you are his pt. He allowed me to suffer and his attitude is even if you have an emergency he will not squeeze you in for an appt. He said, it takes time away from the scheduled patients. A nurse in his office stated, there are Physicians in this office with better bed side manners. |

I know what you mean about not squeezing you in. Unfortuantely I had to wait 3 and half weeks for an appointment, not to mention I had to wait 3 months for my first visit. But I think he has great bedside manners. I thought he was very nice and very thorough. Maybe the reason I like him so much is because he's the only doctor that's ever took my pain seriously. He never shrugs off the fact that I hurt, he always tried to find ways to fix it. And he always makes sure I understand everything, all of my options, the risks, everything. He's the only doctor I have ever met like that. Maybe you've had more, but I haven't. And I also think that maybe because he done something for me that is working for now at least, that I may hold him higher than he deserves. Do you know what I mean? My husband says he thinks I see him as a miracle worker, that he can do no wrong because he took my pain away. I see his point and think maybe he's right. I heard some women fall in love with their doctor's and I think I know why. Not that I am in love with him, but I understand how some women can confuse their grattide like that. I don't really think all that came out the way I intended, but I hope you understand what I mena. Love ya. You're right about him, but so far he's the best that I have been to. Sherry

I do understand what you mean Sherry. I have been to many Endo drs. and they are all different in their approaches. He is very nice. He does try to help. They are a very busy teaching hospital which limits the time and care he can provide. |
