Anyone know of good Toronto docs? I have a surgeon here - who is technically the best - but no bedside manner at all - and doesn't exactly make me feel like a priority - but more of a bother. Any names?

I have an endo doc in T.O whom I was told was the BEST! Maybe its the same one. He works out of sunnybrook womens hospital and his name is Kay Lie. He specializes in endo.
Hope this was helpful. Get your doc to refer you. Iam sure you will be happy with this decision.
Hugs,
Lisa

Hey
I tried to get a referall for Dr. Lie but he wouldn't take me due to the complications I had with my hyst 2 years ago and because Sunny Brooke has no bowel dr.'s to work with him as my surgery would need a bowel surgeon and urologist, he was my last my hope, I've been dealing with Dr.'s in Newmarket, no one wants to see me or go against the surgeon who did my hsyt, Dr. Joutsi, he was good but they ran into problems with me, boo hoo, now I'm still dealing with the problems, wish it could be resolved, does anyone else have painful intercourse, the gyno wants to put me on Depo provera but I'm not too keen on that, too many side effects as I already have high blood pressure and heart murmur,  I just wish intercourse wasn't so painful, it feels like my hubby is banging into something and I get lots of pain afterwards for a few hours, anyone else experience this or have suggestions???
Thanks
fustrated Kerri

You were looking for a Toronto doctor - don't know if you have found one as yet - but if your willing to travel to Milton - mine was Dr. Glen Hunter and he is both the specialist and the surgeon who performed my surgery - great guy and very very easy to talk to!  If you need surgery he does it at the Milton Hospital - Hwy 25 and Derry - the hospital is affectionaly called the Milton Hilton!   Good luck.
