I'm currently seeing a family doctor who works in a walk-in clinic- Dr. Smith. Hes a fast type of doctor - in and out with the appointment. I'm not sure as to if he knows much about Endo - in fact he said its best that my current gyn take care of that matter... So I'm a looking for a good doctor here in Winnipeg who takes the time to know their patents. If you know or have a family member who knows of a good doctor please do tell. I see DR. Logan who is my gyn - and who will refer me to see Dr. Francis Lee @ The Heartland Fertility and Gynecology Clinic soon. (hopefully soon) |

Hiya, FlowerKitty! I used to live in Winnipeg many moons ago (about 8 years in Ontario now). I had a Gynie named Dr. Lee. If this is the same doctor, he is great. He did my reconstructive surgery from the damage left by my son,s birth. He has a great sense of humour and really takes the time to listen to what you have to say. If it's not the same doctor, the best advice that I can offer up is, go in with lots of questions (write them down if you have to). Don't make any decisions on the spot (make sure you get all the facts straight, then sleep on them). And finally, listen to your gut! Laurie |

Thank you Laurie! As a matter of fact about a week or so after I posted this I was referred to Dr. Lee at the Heartland clinic. I seen him back early this month and have a follow-up with him in a few days. He was wonderful when I saw him and took the time to listen. Tessa |
