Hello to all,

I was diagnoised with endo 8yrs ago, it has slightly over taken my life, I have have 5 lap's, laser treatment, hyst and 2yrs ago i went to have my ovaries removed, after surgery I was told that my left ovary was the size of a grapefruit and that the one on the right side had ROTTED AWAY!!!
I recently went back to a new gynae which i explained i had been suffering pain again, when he examined me he said that my ovary was still there, i have had a few tests over the passed couple of weeks to confirm this and yes he was right the ovary is still there. I am going to gynae on the 13th December and hoping he will suggest that this is removed.
I hate this desease and feel like i cant cope much more with it.

Love and Peace

essex

Hi Paula...I'm sorry I didn't see this when I wrote earlier to you...lol..wow..you'v had a similar life to me..and many others...I too had an ovary rot away ...I guess when they are covered with endo and adhesions etc they stop working so they rot...but they also can leave fragments of ovaries behind and then you end up still producing estrogen...who'd a thunk eh..lol..especially if they laser rather than cut it out ...I hope you can find some love, support and help from the board...will be looking forward to hearing more from you...thanx for sharing your story...love & huggz..
