Yep it's that time again...need to know when  your birthdays, anniversaries, appts, surgeries etc are...so I can put them on the September newsletter...so drop in and let us know and while you are at it..how about an update on how you are feeling..what you did for your summer etc...looking forward to catching up with you all..sending huggz..Angel

My update...well we've had a very busy summer with a lot of outside work, cementing, painting, digging, gardening etc..I think I have painted to date (including some I did at my sisters and daughters) about 14 gallons of paint...no wonder my arm is tired...We are trying to get our house ready for sale...but seems like everytime we get started something goes on that prevents us..Dh is working but he's way down on the list..sounds like he's going to be able to work till Dec..so at least we have some time line for now..hopefully they will get more lumber orders and continue to work..but the lumber industry (which use to be so strong) is on rocky grounds these days....My sister has one more chemo treatment (a total of 12) YEAH...I'm so excited for her it's been a very long haul for her...I go over in a couple weeks for her last one...As for me well I've been doing really well on the Neprinol...it seems to have kept my adhesions at bay..that's why I was able to do so much this summer..so I am very excited about it...I go in for a colonscopy on Sept 11 ..after my mom and sister were both dxed with colon cancer all the siblings had to have one done..my brothers and other sisters came back clear so I'm praying mine will be the same...anyhoo that's it for now

Hi Angel

Sounds like you have been super busy lately. 14 gallons of paint sure is a lot of work :-) Good for you! I am happy to hear your adheasions are staying at bay. That certainly would have helped to keep you painting.
It's great news that your sister is having her last treatment soon! Hurray!!!! I am just beside myself with excitement! Gosh and you must be ready to celebrate also ;-)
I do understand about the colonscopy's. Althought I haven't began the ritual of them yet, I know what my future holds, and they are continuous. Anyways, I find the best thing is to accept the fact we have to have them done. Know what I mean?

Anyways, this coming month will be a little interesting. I start school up yet again and am nervous as usual. I also turn 21 years old with my twin on Sept 9th! I am unsure what I will be doing for my birthday. I know he will want to go drinking and such, I just can't and won't do that.
So those are my upcoming events.
Kristina

woweeeeee!!!

Well today is Bank Holiday here in the UK and we WERE sposed to go on strike today because of our payrise we should've got back in April!!!!!!!! Anyways that was called off this week, and well basically we've had to ballot again for the new paydeal (the third since April)!! Anyways i rejected rofl, because i'm not happy....lol....they've messed us around and they want to bring in a system called Kronos and get biometric details from us.....and i'm SORRY but WHY should I?! It's work...not holiday or anything!!!!!!! grrrr!!

Endo-wise, i'm not goin too good. After my period Aug 11th-18th, yesterday Aug 24th, I got some serious pain in my right hip area, and i've started bleeding again :-(, I also experienced some really pulling and draggin/twisting sensation in my right hip area too :-( which the pain and bleeding i'm tryin to contend with atm...and i'm feelin considerably sick and tired and washed out! Anyways Sept 11th, I go for my follow up from my surgery back in January (FINALLY!!!!!), and i'll mention all this stuff to the dr....I will also make sure I mention my almost passing out episode just days before my period began!

What else is happening.....the kids here go back to school the first week of sept, so WOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!! *dances* soooooo looking forward to it!!!!! It's driving us nuts, having the flights so full of kids! I mean like out of 189 passengers we've been getting around 40-50 kids on each flight (and we classify children under the age of 16)!!!!! And that's not including the infants (0-2)!

So yea....we're ALL looking forward to then! :o) we also hope that we'll get abit of a break now, and that things will start to simmer down for us, ready for the Christmas mayhem!!! Now that we are NOT looking forward to! It's always chaos!!!!

I tell ya...working in an airport is not all it's cracked up to be!!! Alot of people think it's a great job.....it's not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha Anyways i've finished my rambling.....I have to get ready for work now....boohoo....working on a public holiday sucks too!!!

Sending you all massive hugs and i promise i'll try and get on here more often...sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love n hugs

Lulu

Sorry I haven't been around.  Life got crazy (I mean, crazier).

Endo-wise things are ok.  My upped dose of Aygestin killed most of the pain, and my ovaries couldn't be more suppressed.  But every 3-4 weeks I get all the digestive stuff again, the occasional bleed, the intestinal cramps.  Not really sure why, or what to do about it.  The big fear is how deeply through the intestinal tissue the endo is, but there's no good way to know, and in any case I don't have the time to devote to it right now.  I'm supposed to go Sept 3 to talk about it with the RE.

The boys are 8.5 months old now.  Getting big!  I spent all summer trying to put them on a schedule to make life easier.  Andrew's up to like 18 lbs now, and sitting and starting to crawl and pull up to stand.  Mobile little guy!  He's doing great.

Daniel ... he's still down at 12 lbs and hasn't much grown for nearly 2 months.  He's got fluid accumulating in his brain and almost surely needs brain surgery to fix it.  So that's what I've been doing.  Bouncing from doctor to doctor, hospital to hospital.  Getting him cleared for anesthesia to have an MRI.  There were concerns about his heart (all fine, phew!), and now about an infection that he's likely had since birth.  But I got him cleared, and he'll have the MRI tomorrow, and meet with neuro surgery on Wednesday to figure out what's what.  Busy busy bad summer.

Hello everyone. This month is busy for me. Sept 15th is my first anniversary and also the day my son will show his cow in PA. We will drive from VA to PA spend the entire day at the show and then drive back home. This is a long and tiring trip but well worth it. Sept 26th is my next CT scan to determine if the nodules in my lungs have changed any.(I pray they are the same or completely gone!) Then on the 30th I go back to the pulmonary dr and hopefully he has good news! That is all for me right now. One bit of good news.....my son has three new calves born Sept 1st. He has already sold two and will keep one until next year. Hope you all are doing well and continue on the road to recovery after recent surgeries.

To all pain free days.....DEBBIE

HI all, hope all is well with you all, Well finishing in the Gynae ward next week and back off to Maternity ward. Cant wait. Then will try to get the management to sponser me through my midwifery training.

Endo wise, expecting another period in a week or so not looking forward to it at all, last one was hell on wheels.  Have got a tentative date for my hysterectomy for November 3, has taken over a year now but only two more periods to go. Hooray!!!Appaently its taken so long because there are two or three surgeonsneeded and a whole day to be cleared for the op. Scary. Working on the gynae ward hasnt helped dull my fears quite the opposite really, i see all the bad cases come through.
Thats me anyway, spring is here so enjoying a few days of sunshine after a very wet winter.
Take care all,
Steph

STill alive I will say. Not much of a computer junkie these days, so it's rare I even get online much.
My endo is doing well. Depoprovera has kept this monster under control so far. I'm thanking God, and knocking on wood since I have no medical insurance now that I'm divorced.
