I first began this post in a flurry of pain, and anger at my body. Then I realized many of you would not have a clue about anything I wrote because I haven't posted much lately.
So it's due time I explain myself.

8 weeks ago I began a tough process of lowering my anti-depressents. So for those who don't know me, I suffer from chronic depression, therefore at this very moment need anti-depressents.
Anyways, it was a long process, and the lower I got, the more and more depressed I became. So to be on the safe side, the doctor had to add something alongside to help me out for me. Effexor. Now the downside with Effexor, you cannot take ibuprophen. Bummer hey? Expecially when you have endo pain.
So here I am today, in pain, waiting for a period to arrive which feels like it never will. See, for those who don't know or don't remember, I had a shot of depo-provera in January. Just one shot. And since then, I have been periodless, but not painless.
For the past week, I have been suffering from all of my digestive issues (which by the way seem to kick in once a month). Then yesterday, while on the toilet, I experienced, the worlds most painful BM, and worst of all, it got stuck.... Yep.
So today MY ovaries are just throbbing away, and my vagina is aching in pain. My hips, thighs and knees feel like they will explode off of me. Now if this ain't endo... then I must be nuts.

Uggghhh.... I think I am back to being an endo girly.
Kristina

(P.S. I WILL get better control of this whole emotional thing)

Oh Kristina,

bless you!!

It sounds so awful for you girlie!?

Have you thought about maybe giving Fibrovan a go?! Alot of the girls here have tried it and have had some success on it, might be worth a go....

We don't get Fibrovan here, so I can't even try it! :-(

But stop stressing as this will make the pain worse girlie.....we're here to help support you! So stop stressing about how you are coping with things....because trust me, most of us don't cope too well! i'm sure things will eventually improve for you girlie, chin up and lotsa hugs to you

Love

Lulu

Oh I'm so sorry to hear.
Sucks about the effexor - didn't know that about ibuprofen - howcome they don't go together?

You prob have tried but taking magnesia regularly helped me with the bowels. The pills, the stress and endo can all contribute to those issues so when I started my stong medication my gyn told me to be on top of that prob from the beginning and magnesia really helped me.

Hope the docs will find some relief for you soon.

Hugs
Mette

Hi Lu and Mette,
I am feeling a little better today. I forced myself out of bed and dressed myself up nice and went out despite feeling icky.
I honestly do not know why the effexor cannot go with ibuprophen, but I will talk with the pharmacist about that today, see if that means I cannot take advil and such. I do try to stay away from prescribed pain meds due to the fact that I do already take so many meds as it is. So hopefully advil is alright :-)
I will have to talk to Angel about the fibrovan, find out how much she paid for hers and how she got it and such....
Mette... I have some magnesium that also has calcuim, is this the same? Would this all work the same as Metamucil? My surgeon recommended I take metamucil, on a regular basis because I do suffer from such bad constipation. Yet, I don't know how much to take, and how ofter, LOL. 15 pills a day seems alot to me.
You know, I really appreciate touching base with the two of you. It helps to not feel so alone with this pain. I don't think the two of you don't understand how much I appreciate your support.
Thank you so much.
Kristina

Oh Kristina..I'm sooooooo sorry that you are going through so much..it must be very tough weaning off the medication? Is there a reason why the doc has decided to do this? Can you take Vit B's or something to help with this process? I wish I had other suggestions...the only one I can think of is the Fibrovan? maybe print off the ingredients and talk to your doctor about trying it..if he ok's it maybe buy one bottle and try it out....You should be able to find one of the health food stores in the area that has it...I'm sending you a huggggggggggggggggggggge hug and lots of prayers..know we are here for ya..huggz..Angel

Hehe the dress-up trick - yearh - I've used it a few times also to hide how terrible I was feeling - it's amazing how much a nice dress and makeup can make others believe you're 100% fine...
I don't know what metamucil is, sorry, so you should prob ask at the pharmacy just to make sure.

I do know how much the support mean - and I'm just glad my experiences can maybe help others - that way something good will have come of it all

Keep up the fighting - I know it's easy to say and extremely hard to do

Hugs
Mette
