Well - first of all - today is our 3 year wedding anniversary. Imagine that - 3 years... Feels like yesterday...

Just been to a visit at my gp to chek up on those muclecramps I keep getting - they are so powerfull I loose control over my leg - really uncomfortable.

Got a referal for physio so hope that works.

Tomorrow I'm going to the psycologist - interesting to see what she's like - she HAD heard of endo atleast so that's good I think,

Also have zonetherapy tomorrow to boost my immunesystem. Still have a cold - last week I have couple of days with a fever and then again on friday-monday this weekend. But - it's only a virus so have to wait it out.

I'm taking 100 mg of diclofenac (max is 150) a day and trying to avoid the tramadol now  so it's slowly getting better - still not able to bike or run - tried both last week - buuut it's still a no-go - but I'm getting there

So all in all amazing progress in the 4 weeks and my GP was amazed how fast I got out of the morphine products

All the best,
Mette

Happy Anniversary Mette & Benny..wow 3 years already..hard to believe...but it does fly by ..it was 28 years for us at the begining of August and it just seems like it was a couple years ago..lol...it sounds like you are doing ok...did you have a shot in the leg that is bothering you?? I use to get really sore muscles that lasted months after my surgery from where they gave me morphine shots...hope the physio helps...sorry to hear you have a cold..they are nasty things this year..seems to hold on for a long time..and as far as I can see you are doing awesome..I couldn't have biked or ran at 4 weeks..wouldn't have even tried it..so just you trying it says you are on your way to recovery..just don't over do it my friend...sending ya great big happy huggz..Angel

Thanks Angel
No no shot in the leg. The surgeon said it's normal in the beginning and my GP found the muscles are so tense it's actually amazing - she's never felt that area SO tense.... Well - there's a first for everything I guess....

As for running after the bus - well I kind of forget the 15 cm scar - it's a great sign that I'm doing amazing 4 weeks in, but it's also not so good since I have a tendency to overdo things....

So on last sunday I spent the day on the sofa after overding it both on thursday, friday AND saturday.... Way to go - 3 in a row

I'm trying to get back into studying but it's hard but I'm glad I got refered to a therapist - had my first visit today - she's a straight shooter - she asked directly if I thought the economics studies were too much for my intellect - no skulking around - straight forward question. Caught me by surprise - but my answer was honestly "no, but my body has made it harder than it is for the others" So that's a good thing

Pretty beat now - so of to bed before 10 pm again...

All the best
Mette
