well i went to see the Endo specialist yesterday after waiting for so long!!!

Firstly, he doesn't think Endo is causing my probs because they didn't see any active Endo in my surgery in Jan (no kidding I told him!) He was like, what do you mean?! (I said "Well I hadn't had a period since the Nov, so I am not surprised there was no active Endo")

He then said that because I had minimal Endo, that it's probably just destroyed nerves and that's what's causing my pain.

Anyways....he said, we'll give Zoladex another try....and see him in 3 months time. He said that if the Zoladex doesn't help, then he'll refer me to a pain specialist where i'll get assessed at the Pain Clinic!!!!

It's not all that was said, but I can't think right now....I feel really unsure about how the appt went and how I feel about it all really. I'm not looking forward to Zoladex again, but I have to give it a try...at least this time it's WITHOUT the Mirena Coil

Anyways there's a little update from me

Oh Lu..how very frustrating for you...I hate to say it but it sounds to me like he gave you the ole doctor shuffle...and who knows if there was active endo or not now...some docs..I just don't understand...they didn't see endo in me either..for over 17 years..then when they finally went where my pain was voila..there is was..all over the place..sometimes they just look in the girlie area and not other areas...all I can say is that when they send you to the Pain Clinic..keep an open mind..if nothing else they may be able to help you tolerate your pain better..I know it was a big help for me when I learned not to let the disease own me and to get my pain under control..so keep smiling and hopefully things will look better soon for ya..sending huge huggz..Angel
