7 weeks in, and the healing seems to have stopped.
On the other hand I was rather active this past weekend so maybe it's just payback from overdoing it...

My scar hurts like h*** (no it's not red and warm - looks normal) and yesterday I had cramps.

I'm trying to take only 50 mg of diclofenac a day but right now it's difficult - I know max is 150 but my gp would really like it if I could get down to 50 mg and maybe of it totally. Right now that's not going so good...

I know I need to be patient but man it's hard not to just "pop a pill" and keep on going

Good girl..I'm glad you are listening to yourself..and yes it's only been 7 weeks..haha..I know it seems like a life time..sometimes you get sore around the incision because you are stretching the scar tissue..try to do very slow easy stretches to help the tissue to stretch..it's quite normal to have that sensation..you could also try rubbing some Vitamin E on the scar itself..might help some..heat of course relaxes the muscles..you have to remember some of those muscles etc haven't been used much as you have been laid up..so just take things slowly and try and remember to give that area a good stretch every day..I found one of those big excersise balls works really well..I use to get my dh to hold onto my hands and help me stretch backwards on it so I could give that area a big long stretch...I wasn't coordinated enough to do it myself..haha..anyhoo..thanx for keeping us posted..sending big huggz..Angel
