So - this sunday was 2 months since my surgery.
It's actually not that long but it feels like a lifetime!

SO much have happened this past 2 months.

First of all I'm only taking NSAID and over-the-counter stuff now. Well - most of the time. This past weekend I had some cramps. But it was like the cramps couldn't get going like before - do you know what I mean? I had the beginning of the cramps and then they went away again pretty fast.

So it seems like my body is still doing a cycle and I was SO scared that the endo was coming back allready.

However I managed to do a little gardening - getting the garden ready for winter. Was great - and on monday and yesterday I had sore mucles - a whole new feeling - haven't had that in over a year so that was amazing!!

But I still need to be carefull - the past few days I've had pain so I've been relaxing at home - we have autumvacation this week so just doing studying at home and tomorrow and friday I'm taking a break from the books 100%.

Does anyone know these cramps so "long" after a hyster? It's normal after a lap for it to take 3- 6 months for the result to show so I figure it's the sam for a hyster?

Thanks
All the best
Mette

Yes I remember those cramps..I think it's cuz your body is trying to adjust...if you think about it makes sense as you are now missing an organ..so all the other organs have to shuffle down..also if they left ovaries then you still cycle...you just don't get the period...so that could be what you feel..maybe keep a diary to see if the pain comes at the same time every month and if it swaps sides..it also can be adhesions which can get tight and now that you are more active they are stretching which causes a cramp like feeling...hope that helps ya out ..keep us posted..huggz.

The pain is centered as it was before surgery.
I had endo near the bladder so he removed that also after taking the ut.

I still have 1 ovary left, so I know I'm having some sort of cycle but this last period of cramps have lasted more than a week now so I'm thinking either adhesions or new endo in the abdomen.

In may I had no visible endo at the lap and in august they found some again so I know that it can grow in me in only 2-3 months. So I'm ofcourse worried that 2 months with no hormones have given the endo a free pass again.

If it keeps up I guess I'll have to call my gp and maybe get a referal to my gyn again. If only to talk about possible adhesions.

Hugs back
