Welcome Sage (?) ...I'm glad you found us..hopefully we can help you with any questions you have...I'm sure you will enjoy all the girls here..and I'm sure they will help you with any endo questions you have & support you ...There are also quite a few of us that have hysterectomies but still have endo..sorry to say that but it's true..even though many docs will tell you it's a cure...but there are many girls on this board that have been helped with a product called Fibrovan..so if you are interested in it just post and I'm sure the girls will talk to you about it...

It would be great if you could write us a little more about yourself ..If you have any questions about the web page please feel free to email me at [email protected] or Lu at [email protected] or post the questions on the general board...there is lots of info on the board ..you'll find many links on the main page if you scroll down ..so feel free to look around...

As for Me..I am the gal that started the page but this page is truly a group effort...so if you think that you'd like to see something listed or posted on the board or have any ideas for the board let me know...I'm glad you joined and all I ask is that you post something within a couple of days so we can learn more about you..If I don't hear from you within a few days then I will delete your membership from the board as there have been problems in the past with hackers as I mentioned in your email..I want to try and keep it safe for all the girls here..if you do get deleted and you would still like to be with the group ..just reapply and post right away..thanx...looking forward to reading more about you...take care..love and huggz....Angel

Ps..we would like to start a mailbox for you to use instead of email (this way you can remove your email address of the web site so no one can see it..) although the web site is private now so people can't read it unless they have been accepted to the group....and Lu would also like to try and find a few sig tags (like mine above) for the girls ...you can use them in your posts to the group or your emails..so I'd like to know if you'd like to use the name Sage or or another name? Just Post and let me know ...or if you don't think you'd use either of these things let me know and we won't set them up

Welcome to the group Sage!!!

I'm Lu, 24 from England and I got told that I couldn't have Endo because of my age, plus other things....but I was diagnosed in 2004.

And still not being taken seriously enough!!!! Grrrr!

Anyways, I really hope that you find the group really helpful.

I'm Mette, 29 year old undergrad in economics. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark with my hubby Benny.

I was diagnosed unofficially in dec '04 after a synarela nasalspray period and in june '05 a surgeon removed endo.

I have had a few lap's since but 3 months ago I had a hyster eventhough I have no kids. I've abselutely not regretted having the hyster as I can now get by without morphine and we're looking in to adoption.

Hope you'll come to love this place as I know a lot of us do - and there's always room for not-endo-related posts also I found out.

These are some wonderfull and strong ladies

In regards to the name...Sage is fine :)

lol What else can I say about myself...

I have 3 boys and they are my everything. My husband and I have known each other for 20 years, been together for 11, and married for 8 in May.

I have a rat dog named Oliver....bought by my mom in law (my hubby was opposed to us having a dog) while I was in the hospital last year (appendectomy).

I work as a showroom manager / decorator for a high end outdoor furniture store and love it.

In my spare time (not that I really have any), I love to paint, read and write.

I love all genres of music, from the Grateful Dead to Bach to System of a Down...very eclectic :)

hhhmmm...am I missing anything? :)
