Hey Clara, I'v had 2 D&C's so can sympathise with you, but to be honest with you I have no idea. I'd heard that you should refrain from sex for at least 2 weeks because of having surgery......but I haven't been in a relationship nor trying for a family, so I can't really offer you any advice. But please take it easy. Take care and I hope someone else is able to help you. Lulu |

Did not have D&C, but after my miscarriage heard conflicting suggestions from ob's office. Mutliple docs and midwives in the group. One appointment I was told to wait 3 months and next appointment I was told this was my most fertile time. I did not use any preventive methods, but still took 3 months to get pregnant again. Gina |

Thanx for the info! That is sort of what is confusing me, Gina. I was not pregnant. The d&c was done because I was bleeding for 5 months straight. I know of others who have miscarried and were told to wait as well, but not sure in my case, as it was more of a cleaning out process to start fresh and to see what was causing me to constantly be bleeding. I suppose, I need to wait until my bruised belly is better, but other than that I haven't find much info on it. We will wait and see i suppose!! Cheerio, Clara |

Hi Clara..I did a bit of research and it looks like it's ok to try..some said to start right away some said to wait one month some three months..I think when you are feeling the time is right to go for it.. ...just listen to the inner you..you would still ovulate etc...so I can't see any reason not too????? so have fun trying ..hehe..wishing you tons of luck and sending many healing huggz..Angel |
