well here we go again, another random post.

It's my day off, and I have so much to do, but I just don't have the enthusiasm nor the energy to actually get up to do it. After all, it's just ironing.

Gees how I wish they made it that it would magically do itself. Which I am sure you all feel the same! Though I have to get it done, I have my lovely, lovely work uniform to iron...grrrr. it's so frustrating cos it's made from cheap cruddy materials. And i've got all my holiday clothes to iron! (that is going to take forever!!! hehe!)

I have to get packed by tomorrow, as I won't have time between now and departing!!! ahhhh scaryyyyyy!!! I can't believe I am going in like 6 days 7 hours and 15 mins!!!!!! It doesn't seem that long ago that I booked the flights. hehe. Gonna have a little piece of summer in the midst of winter. woot woot!! And of course to see Tim!!!!! That I SO can't wait for!

What else was there that I was thinking of!?

Oh yes.......I love the colour Lilac, well I like all purples, but Lilac is my favourite. Though it's like a winter colour, which surprisingly my favourite season is summer, it's still my favourite. And even more so because it's something else I had in common with my nan.
I get a little addicted to things sometimes. Like being random. haha.

Ohhhhh my gosh, we had some stupid passenger yesterday, now this is going to seriously make you go "D'OH!!!!" lol.

I had just finished boarding my flight, and my colleague who helped me, had just finished helping someone else, when this passenger came up to us and asked us if we were boarding her flight. My colleague said, "not yet, you are a little too early, if you just check the information screens incase the gate has changed, if not, then take a seat". The passenger proceeded to say, "What? Have I missed it?" So my colleague again repeated herself. Again the passenger said, "Are you not letting me on because I've missed it?" I then butt in and said, "Madam, you haven't missed your flight, it hasn't left yet, it hasn't boarded yet, you are too early, but the gates can change up until boarding, so please could you check the information screen for your gate incase it has changed. We haven't got a working computer to tell you where to go." She just walked off dumbfounded. We don't know where she went. And she was English!!!! So language wasn't a problem. like D'OH!!! It says on the boarding cards what time to be at the gate and to check the screens for gate changes. It's always the English who DON'T!!!

Well anyways...gees I musta made you fallen asleep by now!!! LOL!

Sorry!! hehe.

Anyways...Enjoy a little randomness!

Love n hugs

Lulu

I love lilac too..I use to have all my bedrooms painted lilac..and I love the smell of lilacs...I think I have about a dozen of them planted in my front yard...of all different colors..pink, blue, purple, deep purple, white...they are lovely...love the smell of them...they bloom in the spring here..I always wish they lasted longer..every year I cut a huge bouquet and bring them in the house...and they waift up my stairs when the front door is open...lovely..as for your customer..I use to deal with many people like that..she was probably just nervous..maybe her first time flying..lol..and how exciting..ironing..haha..I hate ironing except for when I'm sewing..cuz it helps so much when I'm sewing..but as for general ironing ..it either gets sprayed with a bit of water and thrown back in the dryer for a bit..and then hung up..haha..I usually try to get my stuff out of the dryer as soon as it's done so I don't have to iron..mind you there are those few times where you are going to something important that you have to have it ironed...but..if I don't have to I won't...hehe...it's like darning socks...I darn socks like this...I say DARN, DARN, DARN all the way to the garbage can..hehe..anyhoo..thanx for the random thoughts..I'm sure you are very excited about going to Aussie land to be with Tim...I'm excited for you...sending ya lots of huggz..and a cooling fan for the sweat you are going to have with all your ironing..hehe..Angel

Thanks for the darning tip!!!hahaha!  My husband's mother always darned his socks, so he thought it was wasteful for me to throw them out.  Well, I am going to pull this one on him next time!!  Can't wait to see his reaction!!!!
cheers,
Clara
