Hello everyone! Sorry haven't been too active on here for the last couple of days! Been busy with lotsa stuff and not feeling so fine! I just have a question concerning bleeding. When I had my D&C, they told me I wouldn't have a period for 4-6 weeks. However, on Wednesday, which was 20 days (not even 3 weeks) after my D&C, I started spotting and have been since. Anyone else have this issue, or heard of similar? Now, my sister just mentioned that she had similar bleeding when she got pregnant. Implantation bleeding or something like that. This may sound weird, but I am scared to take a preg test cuz the last times i did they are always negative and I hate that feeling! And plus, it is probably too early to take one anyhow. By rights, I shouldn't have a sign of period till next thursday or later. Weird thing is I have no cramping with it at all. Answers please Clara |

I don't know what to say Clara...I haven't had a D & C so can't respond personally but from what I read AF usually comes 30 + days after procedure...so all I can say is long as you aren't in discomfort or having a fever or discharge you should maybe just not worry about it..just enjoy your life and continue on and see what happens...no sense worrying or getting upset..ya just never know..there is a time for everything ...so just let time figure it out...and if nothing else just be really happy you have NO cramping..hehe..sit back and enjoy a nice hot chocolate and breathe..hehe..sending ya warm huggz..Angel |

Hey Clara,
please try not to worry.
When I had my D&C's I bled. If u think about it, they scrape ur lining, so ur bound to have some spotting.
Try not to worry too much.
After my first D&C I bled alot, and had my AF within days of the procedure. The dr's were not tht concerned about it, so don't worry urself.
I know from personal experience after having the procedure twice that the bleeding is pretty normal after, so please try not to stress too much about it.
If the spotting doesn't stop within 2 weeks, then I would suggest you see your GP and just get them to take a look. But in all honesty, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
Hope this helps somewhat
Love and hugs

Alright so this wonderful feeling of not really knowing what is happening has again entered my system. This bleeding has now been going on for 10 days, and it is the same sort of bleeding as before my D&C, where it is just spotting most of the time and every now and then a bit heavier. I am just hoping that it is not the same starting all over again. Not so sure about it all. Trying hard not to worry about it, but after bleeding like that for 5 months, it is kinda starting to make me wonder/worry a wee bit. Clara |

Try not to worry too much Clara as this will aggreviate any endo. Stress = Pain. I know what it's like to be bleeding for a long period of time. When I had the Mirena inserted (under GA) I bled every single day from Oct 17th 2005 to July 31st 2006, even when I had Zoladex first time around I had full blown heavy periods. Try not to worry too much honey, I know it's hard, but I also know that we are strong, you are strong and you can do this. Yea it's draining physically and mentally and emotionally, but that's what we are here for, to help you through it. Take care of yourself and do something to treat yourself to make you feel a piece bit better. (I find that goes ALOOOOOOOONG way) Take care my precious friend Love and Hugs from Australia Lulu |
