I have been tired and stressed this week. tonight my cat buttercup kept climbing on the couch and sitting on my feet. She usually runs around like a crazy lady. When I went to get up she she moved sloser to me and climbed on my lap. I needed to go to the bathroom and she followed me. she sat at my feet and followed me almost urging me to sit down. Now she is on my bed watching over me. I felt a little shakey but hope everything will be ok. I have learned to pay atention to her cues because she is usually right onl. I have been good since may but have been under alot of stress.  I will keep you guys posted..  Have a good night all. Lori

How strange is this? I have been reading e mails tonight and don;t remeber writing most of these..do you guys ever just blank out for a while and pick up where you left off?  I have been real sleep deprived this week due to stress and I was up very late last night. I know sleep is important but if I am stressed there is no sleeping pill that will knock me out. I just have to be careful not to burn the cancles at both ends. How do you guys relax when you know your body can't take anymore?

I hope everyone is doing well  Please post and let me know how you are doing. Lori

Lori,

I found out that when my seizures were fully out of control things went to he-- in a handbasket.

Sometimes even tho I was exhausted, I could not sleep. It was like my mind was in overdrive - but it was also a 38 record being spun on 72, and nothing made any sense. I'd have one sentence go thru my head a million times and couldn't get it to stop.

I never found a way to stop it. But I did find that if I rolled with it and just got paperwork and such that I could do accomplished during those times that it didn't lead to another string of seizures. Sometimes I couldn't get my head to clear enough to focus on paperwork, and then I cleaned house.

I hope that this streak passes by for you soon.
Milinda

Thanks Melinda. I know I am really sleep deprived. My daughter has been sick and I have an unstable sister who calls me way too much. I wish I had a button like on a radio dial to turn her off or at least down!  things are settling with my daughter. she is seeing an allergist now since her anaphalytic shock and we are close to finding out what is still giving her hives. How is everyone else doing?

My son has had seizures where he looks like he's staring and will pick up where he left off as though time did not pass. You might be having those type of seizures and lack of sleep or stress can bring those on. That might be something you want to bring up at your next doctor's appointment.
