When i posted this link up i did it for a reason.  I wanted ppl to know that we have a safe haven here and a place to come to when we are in need.  Sometimes we don't want to talk to anyone family, friends but here you can always find solance.  I do pray for the ppl here that we all find our way to cope and deal with the agonizies of living life as we do.  At times it is so hard between meds and drs, and forgetting things.  That is a big one for me.  I hope i didn't offend anyone by posting up this link, if i did pls let me know, i am by no means a person to push prayer and religion. but i believe that we will one day find the answers we so despertly search for.   seebreaze

Ok, this will sound weird, but be patient. I went thru a period after I had
my stroke and was told I had limited time left where I would not attend any
church. It wasn't that I didn't believe in a higher authority. I just didn't
like attending services where the people thought it was a fashion show more
than a conversation with God. For many years I only worshiped alone in a
place in the woods, where there was no interferance from a three-piece suit
or a fancy dress. I finally found a place where I could worship with people,
but I've since discovered that the huge churches in cities are the worst
about appearances. Perhaps we should each try to have peace in our own way,
I don't know. But even when I was at my most isolated, it didn't offend me
for someone to pray for me. For them to be compassionate enough to truly
want to do that was a compliment.

I love God & Jesus Christ you do not have to go chuch to have them in your heart. I had them in my heart for many years until my brain surgery and now I want to pass the Lord on to others. My husband and I are to joining a Chruch on Sunday Janurary 16,2005.

May the Lord be with All

Hi Cherokee red bird,

your post didn't sound weird at all.  I opened it up since i think it is a nice thing to have when you are in need and feel like giving up, I had plenty of times when i had enough but i always had that feeling that i hold to today, When i die i will find out the answers i need to know.  Until then i pray alone and i go to church sometimes with my eight yr old son. I feel as long as you are at peace then your doing alright.
I didn't want this post to offend anyone in any way, i just thought it would be nice to have it up in case someone needed to read thru the postings here.             Seebreaze

I would like to put in a special prayer for one of our own Kyle, He is in the hospital right now, for some test, we all know how that is, and goes, so I would like everyone to keep him your prayers.
In Jesus name we pray Amen.

Yes as i posted on the message board kyle is in the hospital due to epilepsy related reasons.  I spoke with him tonight and he is losing weight and for you guys who don't know him he stands 6'5 ft.  So the last thing he needs is weight loss.  Anyway, pls if you are reading this post keep kyle in your prayers, as he is always helpful and such a good person.

Too bad it's impossible for us to be wherever and be a shoulder to cry on.
Maybe we'll all be Star Trek some day, instead of still walking around.

I talk to God, Jesus, Mary and even my dad who has passed everday.  Ihave been pretty much homebound since the seizures started and while I do miss church, my priest has told me that it is not a 'sin' in y case to miss mass.  I watch all kinds of religious faiths on TV..I especially like Joel Osteen, because he is a very positive person and he speaks to people who are living today..not necessarily centuries ago.  When I was younger a minister lead us through a path in the woods and stopped at a tree to do his reading.  We walked on for another reading and the last one was back where we started. I really loved that! I do miss church but I don't feel you have to set foot in one to talk to your higher power.  Lori

Yes Lori,

Our Dear Lord is everyweres!!!!
I try to go to church every Sunday, I don't drive but have no problem getting a ride.
I just don't feel well to go some Sundays, but our Lord knows that.

Hi guys! I would like to ask for prayer for myself right now. I've been sick for over a week with fever and not being able to breathe. I went to the VA Emergency Room Sunday and my suspicions were confirmed. I've got pneumonia, and I'm really not doing very well with it right now. My hubby is really worried about me too. That's why he finally took me to the hospital. They put me on zithromax, which I think is the best antibiotic for it, but I just can't seem to shake this sickness.

Marj.

My prayers are with you Marj.
Just do what the Drs. tell you to do and take care of you hun. If things don't get an better in a couple of days, go back to the hospital and tell them hun, remember you are important, and don't ever forget that hun.

Prayers from,
withangels

I'm sorry to read this Marj. Hope you will get well soon. I've really been fighting getting sick from my coworkers too. One really shouldn't have been in at work at all and has been coughing all day every day around us. I've just been making sure to take airbornes and have been hoping I do not wake up with sore throats. Again I hope you get well soon.
Jana
