Italian Steak

  1 1/2      pound  beef round steak -- 3/4 to 1 inch thick
        2      tablespoons  all-purpose flour
     1/4      teaspoon  pepper
1      tablespoon  olive or vegetable oil
        1      (14-ounce) jar  fat-free spaghetti sauce -- (any variety)
1      (9-ounce) package  frozen Italian or regular cut green beans
     1/4      cup  sliced ripe olives

Heat oven to 375°. Remove fat from beef. Mix flour and pepper; rub over both sides of beef, shaking off excess. Cut beef into 6 serving pieces.

Heat oil in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook beef in oil
about 5 minutes, turning once, until brown. Place beef in ungreased
rectangular baking dish, 11 × 7 × 1 1/2 inches. Pour spaghetti sauce over
beef. Cover and bake 1 1/2 hours or until beef is tender. During last 30
minutes of cooking place frozen green beans in sauce around beef. Cover and
continue to bake as directed. Sprinkle with olives.
