Please read all of this before you reply to this thread. For those of you not up to speed on what this is about, we are attempting to create user freindly message boards on the chat site similar to the ones in groups. We need Guenea Pigs. MSN likes to use the term "Beta Testers". The hardest work to check is your own. I need you to try it out and let me know if it is screwed up, offer suggestions for improvement etc. The board works entirely separate from MSN and chat. It has its own user and passwords. You will need to register for it. This is part of the testing procedure. Replies will bump posts. There is an editor for making posts and replies and it is designed to be searchable if we elect to add a search feature.
If you encounter dificulties read here first to make sure it is something in my script and not just a boo boo on your part. If it is not, please post the following as a reply to this post. 1. The exact nature of the problem
2. Your OS (operating system - Windows XP, Mac, Linux etc.) and the browser you are using.
3. Let me know if it is just a one time glitch or a reccurring problem
4. If it is recurring, let me know how I can duplicate it.
If you have suggestions for improving the board. Feel free to make them, but be specific. If you think something sucks, that is fine, but suggest a better way of doing it. Keep in mind that this is my first rendering and I made this board over a year ago and haven't messed with it since. We had these boards. Nobody at the time thought MSN would pull this crap. Anyway here it be:
