As a Democrat against Arlen Spector?

Hmmmm....... this could be interesting if true. Apparently, Mathews is eyeing the PA senate race....

As a Democrat though? I've never thought of Chris Mathews as a Democrat.

Maybe he's just trying to make an easy run..... who knows.

Nacho!

Think of the economy. Umbrella sales should skyrocket.

You never thought of him as a dem?  Did you think he was having a stroke when he said Obama gave him tingles down his leg?

Maybe the voters will elect him if he will promise to stop talking.

Or at least stop interrupting those who are talking.

As you said Nacho, it is very interesting.
I never heard or read about this until this morning, on C-SPAN, when I paid attention.  I should have read it in the paper that we get, most likely I just ignored it because so many other things were on my mind.  But this sounds real interesting and I wonder if he will win, or will the winner still be Arlen Spector.
It's hard to believe that he will run as a Democrat.  All I know is that it will be in 2 years and I can't wait to see it.  I guess I really don't care who wins, but the information that I get on that campaign should be very interesting.

Why is it hard to believe he is a democrat?

Because he used to admit to being Republican and he looked and sounded very proud of it.  I'm just guessing, that it was because of the asinine things that bush could get away with doing, that he gave up on being a true Republican.  Maybe if they change their ways, Chris Mathews will return, but nobody knows for sure.

It could have also been that he started losing interest in the Republican party when they all seemed to get together to impeach Clinton.  He knows, as I think most half way decent people know, that you don't get into someones private life to impeach them.  They'd better learn to stick to politics.
Maybe they didn't like Clinton and not every Democrat was in love with him either.  But who in the hell do these Republicans think they are when they can easily hurt someones feelings.  I think they're a big pile of dog shit with elephant shit on top of it.

Thank You.  I was just giving my opinon and now I have no idea why he was so proud and telling eveyone that he was a Republican and he used to talk about what his brother was doing.  Anyway, he seemed to like it.
But, as I said before thank you very much for what you have said.  Now it really makes me wonder.

He wouldn't be working for MSNBC if he were a republican.

Tucker Carlson used to work for MSNBC. Isn't Joe Scarborough a Republican?

Yes they are. Maybe Sinclair watches CNN and is unfamiliar with MSNBC, but still doesn't make Mathew a Republican.
