Be careful on those roads, Oskar. Always. If it gets too bad we'll just snuggle down in a motel somewhere. |

Couple of days, then a day in Kingston, ON and then on to Quebec City for New Years. We should be back home Jan. 4. The trip will be about 3,500 km in all. |

Ghostly, I'm so honored that you think of me as a fuzzy critter, like a peach...... Yep, I'm along those same lines, just a little more handsome I think. Oskar, You got power. Nobody else does. That sucks! You got the freezing rain shit, nobody ever wants! We're supposed to get that here later tonight. Just took Nacho outside, snowing like crazy, so we're still below freezing here. We got at least another 8 inches here today...... It just keeps coming down! Nacho! |

Ghostly, Thaw? Hahahahaha....... March! Nothing thaws until then, and barely then, too! April is the real "muddy" month when everything is a mess! By May everything is blooming..... And hopefully we don't get a late frost then, too! Nacho! |

Then I guess you'll get Christmas scenery for some time to come (geez, I sure don't miss Toldeo winters, they seemed to last forever, though not quite as long as your's do way up there). Think warn thoughts Nacho, spring will be here soon, really, really soon. g/v |

I'm here, I'm here. I was doing laundry. Im glad to see you all here too. Im slowly working my way thru christmas eve meal. First veggies and dip, then potato salad and now two cookies. havent yet broke into the green olives, beets and sweet and sour cabbage. Im gonna be eating all night at this rate. Nacho didnt have to bribe me before i posted. But he did have an elf appear at my house yesterday with a fabulous box of goodies. so much i could barely fit it in the freezer. What a spectacular christmas present. I shall be eating supremely for weeks to come. Thank you Nacho my friend. words are inadequate to express my thanks. |

Ghostly, Toledo.... Been there before. I guess it's a place to see.... I could never live there! But GV, you don't know how good of life we have where I live. It's truly awesome here! This time of year, maybe not, call me in June, July or August....... something else at that point. You're in Florida, so it's always summer there. Here in the north, we do make well with the weather. Ice fishing? Skiing? Snowmobiling? We do all these things up here. And yes, we do enjoy our festivities.... but the snow does get old! The other thing I haven't told you about, is that we have no cockroaches or beetle bugs up here, either! You can keep all of them! (The last hotel I stayed at in Florida had bugs all over the place, and it was supposed to be a nice place to stay)! No bugs here. They are all either dead or dormant. Nacho! |

Well, I'm in Texas but same thing as far as the weather and bugs are concerned, I had a house fly buzzing around here since yesterday, dang, there's just no escape from them even when we got a snowfall just about two weeks ago. I lived in Detroit Beach (near Monroe) for about 3 years, oh man, the snow just never ended, I was just a kid and it always seemed higher than my head! But the summers are wonderful up there, a heat wave is 90 degrees for three days, if we get 3 days in a row of 90° weather in July or August it's like a (very welcome) cold snap. LOL g/v |
