Aimoo ports and archives all the old stuff for you...isn't that nice?  (good bribe to get our patronage I think!!!)  I think Nacho was wanting to get through the holidays then get serious about the move...but he's a big boy, he'll speak for himself...rofl

Aimoo is having some problems right now. We're hoping they will be solved after the holidays. They must have been swamped with new boards since MSN decided to close, but I really like the board when it's working properly. I'll let you know when things are straightened out.

Hope you had a chance to play around with the Moderator controls at the Aimoo test group Blue, I just bumped you to Administrator so you can see what's available at that level.

 

Please let us know if you figure anything out about Aimoo's problems.

I had already created my own group, just to play with the features when roses groups was having some problems,  and to help them try and figure out a problem they were having. Im finding aimoo pretty user friendly, although its very different than here. But i like it.  a lot of cool fun and new items to play with.

We'll make the move right after the first of the year. I've been too busy lately with work and the holidays to do anything right now. This will give all of us two months to get used to Aimoo.

I don't want to sound pushy or know it all-ie but....If MSN is closing groups in Feb be prepared to not be able to acess boards in a matter of weeks....not saying they will close but there will be glitches, and disapearing post as well as the old can't find that room message when ya try to get in.........on the final days/weeks of MSN chat many could not get into the rooms and the lists started disapearing days/weeks before they actualy closed down...Remember? Most the time the only way and only ones who could get in were those who had a room in their favs....

As I said I'm not being pushy, just hoping you managers dont get too laid back and depending on availability of MSN groups  up till the last min...Cause I quite frankly don't expect that to happen....I could be wrong...but you know MSN....

True that Rose, and they've also taken off the date of closure from the Groups Home page, now it just says the groups will close "in Feb., 2009" instead of Feb. 21st, 2009, as originally was slated. Don't know if it means anything or not, but better to be prepared than caught looking.
