I see the word neocon used a lot on this board, more so than other boards.

Was wondering what it means to each of you that use it.

Look up Leo Strauss and PNAC and get your answer.

My vision of a neocon, is someone who doesn't enjoy original thought, and so does as he it told. He likes to tell others to do as he was told too, and when they don't, or disagree, they are liberals. He, and neocons are often male, seldom question events,
or authority independently. He puts unparalleled trust in people who screw him left and right, and almost seem masochistic in tendency. He is homophobic, often racist, religious, writes more words about God in one post than he's ever actually read in a Bible, and is an authority on God. He refutes global warming for the same reason he believes American economy is healthy; an inability to understand even simple math.

Might be hard for you to grasp this lady, but I asked what it means to those who use it.

You know full well that I'm not the "lady". Can't resist trying to insult folks, eh?

but I asked what it means to those who use it.
Indeed you did and I answered what it meant to me, not what it meant to anyone else. If you don't like the answer, don't ask the question.

How would I know if you are a lady or not, you have it in your name so I don't know how it could be an insult to you, sorry if I offended you.

You answered what it meant to you by asking me to look up what other people wrote about it. If you won't/can't answer then move along.

In other words, you're too lazy to do your homework.

What kind is mirror cheese? It that a French authentic, or an Italian reflection?

NeoCons - New Conservatives...and not in the good way.  More appropriately "ubercons" who would love nothing more than to restore the good old days when women were barefoot and pregnant and white men could dominate and discriminate undisturbed.

Their most endearing feature is to be able to spead their excremental hate in the full knowledge that God backs them and probably likes them best.  After all...these folk likely live in the "truly American" parts of the country.

I know that neocon is supposed to mean new conservative, but since the word con is at the end, I would call it New Convicts.

To me the word neocon means a very stupid, ignorant asinine freak that thinks they know what government is supposed to do, but they don't even know how to speak to the public in English or tie their own shoes.  In other words, any neocon is a very lazy person that knows nothing.

As a Brit it is not a term I would generally use but I recognise the type. OK Stinky explain your take on the opposite.
