1 C Flour
1 C Sugar
1 C Milk
1 tsp baking Powder

1 quart frozen fruit (whatever you like best: my fave combos are peach/blueberry, raspberry/blackberry...anything but melon works)

1 stick butter

1.  put butter in big glass pan (9x13 I think) and melt in oven at 425 while mixing the batter.

2.  Mix first 4 ingredients well (no lumps...)

3.  Pour into pan with melted butter, put fruit on top of batter, bake at 425 for about 35-40 mins (until brown).

Serve with ice cream--or if you're an okie like my dad, put it in a bowl and pour milk on it...lol...

Sounds like it would come out like a cobbler?  Since I love them, I can't wait to try your recipe.

It made me think of the "dump cakes" we used to make back in the 60s and 70s.  Man, I miss those things.
