You can use another fruit other than peaches.

 

Melt 1 stick of butter in oblong pan

 

Beat together:

 

1 cup flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons baking powder

 

Pour all this over the butter

 

Drain 1 large can peaches and pour over the mixture in the pan

 

Sprinkle 1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon Cinnamon over peaches

 

Bake uncovered 1 hour at 350 degrees

 

The mixture will rise up over the peaches and make it a cobbler crust.
