It's that time of year to bake oodles of cookies for the holidays.  So how about sharing your favorite recipes for cookies, bars, candies, or your family's favorite sweets or anything else to do with your holiday baking.

I just saw this on the BH&G site and it looks like a good idea in decorating cookies.

Have any of you been like me and had a hard time finding a really good and reliable cookie press?  I bought a Wilton 2 or 3 years ago and half the time the dough doesn't release right and it takes forever to make a sheet of nice-looking cookies.

What brand of press do you use/recommend?

Yes.  We have about six or seven of them, and only actually use one or two.  We've found that the manual ones are more reliable and easier to control than the electric ones (we discarded that sucker fast!).  The one we like best (and it has its moments!) is from Pampered Chef, and as I recall was a little pricey, but it works better than any of the other myriad of the ones we've tried.  If you find one that is fool-proof, please let me know.

We've also found that some cookie recipes work better in presses than others.  I'll ask my sister which ones are the best for cookie presses and post the recipes.
