We don't make acorn squash often but before putting it in the oven I liberally brush it with melted butter and maple syrup....it comes out pretty good.
Oh, we also like spahgetti squash, too, but it's more expensive then some of the other squashes so we don't get it as much.....even though it's my favorite.
