I would love to try this!! Sometimes I dislike the look of a food item before I even taste it. I imagine my taste is thereby tainted by my perceived sight. There is a lovers exercise, where you blindfold your partner and feed them bits of food items, allowing them to savor every bite.  Eating can be a sensual experience if done properly.  We tend to wolf down our food (a habit ingrained from school days with limited time to eat, carried over in our work days) and not even really taste or experience it. There is a candy bar here called Aero. It's chocolate filled with air bubbles. Their ads promote "just put it on your tongue and let it melt". A truly sensual experience.
