Oh my Gawd! That's terrible, Belle. I'll never be able to eat another banana without remorse. =^p

I've forgotten what form that poem is in. The teacher said, "Write a poem whose subject can be taken two different ways: concretely and metaphorically. And make it about bananas."

Marian is a whimsical teacher.

You guys are whimsical too. "Sweet!" "A peal."

Which reminds me of what Adlai Stevenson said when he was asked his opinion of the Apostle Paul and Norman Vincent Peale. Adlai said, "Paul is appealing, and Peale is appalling."
