Well, I'm sure glad you like it. I thought that "do-it-yourself" birdhouse was a stroke of genius myself LOL! I know with your talents, you can make it look exactly like you want it to! And those gladiola bulbs should attract lots & lots of hummers! I just hope the suet basket doesn't cause any problems for any little birdies trying to eat it...you know...with the "bird hunters" and all.
If it works, I've actually got a recipe for home made suet that I can give you.
