   1                    Can 1 lb 5 oz prepared apple
                        Pie filling
   1       pk           3 oz cranberry flavored Gelatin
                        Topping
     1/2   c            FLOUR
     1/2   c            SUGAR
     1/4   ts           Salt
     1/4   c            Butter, softened

  Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits. Place in        
  bottom of grased 12 x 8 inch or 9 inch square pan        
  pressing to cover bottom of pan. Spread apple filling    
  over dough. Sprinkle with dry gelatin. Sprinkle          
  topping over gelatin. bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.     
  Biscuits will be dumpling like and light and light       
  golden in color. If desired  serve with cream or ice     
  cream. Topping:                                          
  In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar and salt. cut in    
  butter until mixture is coarse and crumbly.              
  Tips:                                                    
  Cobbler may be prepared, covered with plastic warp and   
  refrigerated up to 4 hours before baking. bake at 375    
  for 25-27 minutes. Variations:                           
  A 3 oz pkg of any flavored gelatin may be substituted    
  for cranberry gelatin.                                   
  Any 1 lb 5 oz can prepared pie filling may be            
  substituted,

   4      cups          Cooking apple slices *
   1 1/2  tablespoons   Fresh lemon juice
     1/2  teaspoon      Grated lemon rind
   1      tablespoon    Cornstarch
   1      teaspoon      Apple pie spice
     1/4  teaspoon      Salt -- divided
                        Sugar substitute EQUAL TO
   4      tablespoons   Sugar
     1/2  cup           Flour
   3      tablespoons   Margarine
                        Vegetable pan-coating

* About 1 3/4 lbs medium-sized Jonathans or Wealthies. 
Preheat oven to 435F degrees. 
Prepare inside of a 9" pie plate with vegetable pan-coating.
Pare apples, remove cores, and cut apples into 1/8" slices.
Combine with lemon juice and rind.
Combine cornstarch, spice, 1/8 teaspoon salt, and sweetener;
mix thoroughly. 
Add to apples and stir lightly with a fork to coat all slices.
Spread apples evenly in prepared pie plate; set aside.
Mix together flour and remaining 1/8 teaspoon salt.
Cut in margarine with pastry blender or fork until crumbly;
scatter all over top apples.

Bake about 35 minutes or until top is golden brown. Serve warm

   1      cup           instant oat meal
   1      cup           whole wheat flour
     1/2  cup           apple juice concentrate
     1/2  tsp.          cinnamon
   1                    apple
   1                    egg white
     1/4  tsp.          baking powder

Cut the apple into bite sized pieces.  Mix together everything except the
apples.  Put a thin layer (1/8-1/4") of mixture on the bottom of a non-stick
or Pammed round pan.  Put apples on top of this.  Then spread, plop, drop or
get the rest of the mix on top of the apples someway.  Then bake at 350F.about
20 minutes.

   1      stick         margarine -- not diet
   2      cups          sugar
   2      cups          water
   1 1/2  cups          self-rising flour
     1/2  cup           shortening
     1/3  cup           milk
   2      cups          apples -- chopped
   1      tablespoon    cinnamon
   1      teaspoon      lemon juice
     1/2  teaspoon      nutmeg -- optional

  Melt butter or margarine in a 13x9x2-inch pan. 
In medium saucepan, heat sugar and water until sugar is completely melted. 
Add lemon juice and set aside.
Cut shortening into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. 
Add milk and stir with a fork only until dough leaves sides of bowl.
Turn out on floured surface and knead
only until smooth.
Roll out dough into large rectangle about 1/4-inch thick. 
Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Place chopped apples evenly over dough.
Roll up dough, jelly roll fashion, then slice dough into about 16 slices that are 1/2-inch thick.
Place rolls in pan over melted margarine.  Pour sugar syrup mixture carefully around rolls.
Use all the syrup.  Bake for 40-50 minutes in preheated 350
degree oven.

   2                    Eggs
   1      can           Sweetened condensed milk
     1/2  teaspoon      Cinnamon
     1/4  teaspoon      Nutmeg
     1/2  cup           Brown sugar (light)
     1/2  cup           Flour
     1/4  cup           Cold margarine
     1/2  cup           Chopped nuts
     1/2  cup           Oats

Preheat oven to 375. Spread apple filling in buttered 9" square pan.
In bowl, beat eggs; add sweetened condensed milk, melted margarine,
cinnamon and nutmeg; mix well.
Pour over apple filling.

In bowl combine sugar and flour; cut in cold margarine until crumbly.
Add nuts and oats.
Sprinkle over custard. Bake 50-60 min. or until set.
Cool. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.

   1      cup           All-purpose flour
   1      teaspoon      Baking powder
     1/4  teaspoon      Salt
   1      each          Egg -- beaten
     1/2  cup           Half-and-half
     1/3  cup           Butter or margarine -- melted
     1/4  cup           Walnuts -- finely chopped

Spread apples evenly in a greased 9" square baking pan.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and coarsely chopped walnuts; sprinkle over apples.
Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt; stir well, and set aside.
Combine egg, half-and-half, and butter; mix well.
Add flour mixture, beating until smooth; pour over apples.
Sprinkle with finely chopped walnuts.  Bake at 325 F for 1 hour.

     1/4  cup           Brown Sugar -- firmly packed
     1/4  cup           All-purpose flour
     1/2  teaspoon      Cinnamon
   2 1/2  pounds        Tart Apples -- peeled & diced
                        -----TOPPING-----
     1/2  cup           All-purpose Flour
     1/4  cup           Brown sugar -- firmly packed
   4      tablespoons   Butter (1/2 stick)
   1      cup           Pecans -- chopped
     3/4  cup           Quick or Old Fashioned Oats -- uncooked

Preheat oven to 375øF.  In small bowl, combine Butterscotch Morsels,
brown sugar, flour and cinnamon; set aside. Place apples in 13 x 9" baking pan;
sprinkle morsel mixture over apples.  Bake 20 minutes.

TOPPING:  Combine flour and brown sugar, cut in butter until crumbly.
Stir in pecans and oats; sprinkle over apple mixture.
Bake 30-40 minutes until apples are tender.
Cool slightly. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

   1 1/2  Teaspoons     Baking Powder

   6      Ounces        Cheddar;Md, Shredded,1 1/2 C
     1/3  Cup           Butter; Melted
     1/4  Cup           Milk

*    Use cooking apples such as Granny Smith's that have been cored,
Combine the sugar, flour, and cinnamon, then toss the mixture with the apple slices.
Pour into a 9-inch square baking pan.
Combine the dry ingredients, of the topping, with the cheddar cheese, mixing well.
Add the butter and milk, mixing until well blended with the flour mixture.
Spoon the dough over the fruit mixture and bake at 400 degrees F. for 30 minutes.

     3/4  cup           sugar
   2      tablespoons   flour
     1/2  teaspoon      ground cinnamon
     1/4  teaspoon      salt
     1/4  cup           water
   1      teaspoon      vanilla
   1      tablespoon    butter or margarine -- softened
     1/2  cup           flour
     1/2  cup           sugar
     1/2  teaspoon      baking powder
     1/4  teaspoon      salt
   2      tablespoons   butter or margarine -- softened
   1                    egg -- slightly beaten

Combine the first 7 ingredients; mix gently.
Spoon into a lightly greased 9-inch square baking pan; dot with 1 tablespoon butter. 
Set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
Spoon over apple mixture in 9 equal portions
(batter will spread during baking).  Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.

     1/2  cup           Shortening
   1 1/2  cups          Self-Rising Flour
     1/3  cup           Milk
   2      cups          Peeled apples -- finely chopped
   1      teaspoon      Cinnamon
                        Cream or ice cream (opt.)

Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter in a 13x9x2-inch glass or metl baking dish.
Heat sugar and water in medium saucepan until sugar dissolves; set aside.
Cut shortening into flour with pastry blender or two knives
until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add milk and stir with a fork only until dough leaves sides of bowl.
Turn dough out onto lightly floured board or pastry cloth; knead gently
just until smooth.
Roll out to a 12x10x-inch rectangle.
Stir together apples and cinnamon in mixing bowl.
Sprinkle apples evenly over dough.
Roll up jelly-roll style, beginning with a long side.
Press edges to seal.
Cut into 16 slices, each about 1/2 inch thick.
Arrange slices in pan with melted butter
Pour sugar syrup carefully around and over rolls. (
This looks like too much liquid, but the crust will absorb it.)
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 15
minutes before serving.
Serve warm with cream or ice cream, if desired.

   1      cup           Crushed pineapple -- juice-packed; undrai
   6      tablespoons   Golden raisins
     1/4  cup           Rum -- alcohol calories eva
   3      tablespoons   Cornstarch
   1 1/2  teaspoons     Cinnamon or apple-pie spice

pn Salt 4 tb Fructose -or equivalent sugar substit
Defrost pie crust, if frozen, and set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients, except fructose or substitute, and mix until blended.
Spoon half of the apple-fruit mixture into a 9-inch nonstick cake or pie pan.
Sprinkle evenly with fructose or substitute. Spoon on the remaining fruit mixture.

Arrange the pie crust on top of the fruit mixture
(stretching gently, if necessary, to fit).
Make 6 or 7 slits with the tip of a pointed knife.
Bake in a preheated 425 oven until crust is golden, about 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold.

   4      cups          fresh blackberries or raspberries
   1      cup           sugar
   1      Tablespoon    cornstarch
     1/2  teaspoon      lemon juice
   1      cup           all-purpose flour
   2      teaspoons     baking powder
     1/2  teaspoon      salt
     1/2  cup           milk
     1/4  cup           butter or margarine -- melted
   1                    egg

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spread blackberries in ungreased 2
qt casserole. Reserve 1 teaspoon of the sugar. Mix remaining
sugar, the cornstarch and lemon juice.
Drizzle cornstarch mixture over blackberries; stir gently.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.
Stir in milk, margarine and egg.
Spread batter evenly over blackberries, sealing edge.
Sprinkle with reserved sugar
Bake 30-35 minutes or until topping is golden brown

. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Description: Butter an 8x8 baking pan. Mix first 6 ingredients.
Pour into baking dish. Dot with butter.

Mix buscuit mix, 2 tbls. sugar and milk or water.
Pour over fruit mixture. Top with 1 1/2 tsp. sugar.
Bake at 425 F uncovered for 40 minutes or until golden brown.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a 9 x 13 cake pan. 
Mix next 4 ingredients into a smooth batter.
Pour melted butter into flour mixture without scraping pan.
Stir until blended.
Pour blackberries with juice over batter.
  Bake 1 hour.  Serve hot, warm, or cold.
